He seems like a decent enough guy but apparently coming from a quasi-Buddhist position of some kind(?) yet posted here in the Vedanta section?

I'm a bit surprised that you've never heard of him before now 3bob. He's generally regarded as an extremely skillful and knowledgable teacher of Advaita Vedanta and many people consider him to be the world's leading authority on the Direct Path teachings Sri Atmanda Krishna Menon.

I could be dated, (lol) I'd guess being a "leading authority" doesn't turn him on much, me neither since I have enough on my own plate to deal with. ;-)
