et-thoughts Posted August 29, 2012 You did fine. I was only messing with you. Yes, you had to use the personal form because you started this thread in order to work some things out in your mind. Â Careful with that word 'love'. It is one of those four-letter words that people get into trouble after using it. Â Oh I could had use a three letter word... In other words know tao for tao committed to tao or how about a two letter word... In other words know it for it committed to it or even a one letter word ... know Q for Q committed to Q (hope you are familiar with of Q in startreck next generation :-) Â BTW in my mind the singularity and the dualities are all quite worked out... it is those who still use and cultivate dualistic notions without knowing what they do that sort of cause me troubles... especially when they impact negatively the reality I experience... Marblehead Posted August 29, 2012 BTW in my mind the singularity and the dualities are all quite worked out... it is those who still use and cultivate dualistic notions without knowing what they do that sort of cause me troubles... especially when they impact negatively the reality I experience... Yeah, that is a problem with living only in the realm of dualities. It is so easy to find, live and talk about the negative side and spend little or no time at the positive side. Dualities aren't all that bad, really, if one consideres that half way between the black and the white there are countless shades of gray where one can live, love and play. Â If one consider the full spectrum of light where there are countless colors and countless shades of colors where one can live, love and play... not seeing at all (seeing black) is quite a bummer ... seeing grays is a bit of improvement but seeing color what a difference... oh and moving from points to areas to holograms to more is also quite a difference... besides one can know the full scale without dualities... just as one can know the temperature being what the temperature be (without it being hot nor cold)... Its just that many learn to accept and live with in and through undesirable states...
Marblehead Posted August 29, 2012 ... Its just that many learn to accept and live with in and through undesirable states... Well, you have left me with no words or thoughts to share. Â Okay. Rainbows are beautiful, ain't they?
et-thoughts Posted August 29, 2012 Well, you have left me with no words or thoughts to share. Â Okay. Rainbows are beautiful, ain't they? Â Indeed... they are... This reminded me of a time when I used to ask for them... as a special sign ... I learned that when we ask for something it is given for all... and some see it and some don't... Â BTW your reaction is a reaction I get quite a bit... it sort of becomes an uncomfortable silence and then the dialogue shifts somewhere else... I know that there are many possibilities to share and stories to tell Its just that many still have to learn the ways to shift focus and cultivate what be desirable and live with, in and through the desirable states... maybe you can share with us about 'your' world and how you came to be the landlord, tenant, and keeper... Marblehead Posted August 29, 2012 ... maybe you can share with us about 'your' world and how you came to be the landlord, tenant, and keeper... Ah, the story would be too boring. All I will say is that I had my first "Wu" experience in 1970. Took fifteen years for me to understand what it really was and that is when I became a Taoist. Â My little world is a result of hard work and much Yo Wei. Now I get to Wu Wei whenever I want to. Â Yes, I am the temporary keeper of the grounds. One day it will be someone else's. Â That sounds like the plot of a movie I saw the other day... don't ask me to name it, or who acted /directed it because that's not how my brain work's... thought as I said the plot of the movie came to mind when I read what you wrote... the reason I asked about your story is because stories help lives... besides in the movie just about everyone involved wrote a best seller book... Marblehead Posted August 29, 2012 Okay, a short story. Â I oftentimes tell people about the places I have been and the things I have done and seen. Now and then someone will appear to be really interested and ask me if I have any pictures. Â I tell them , "No. Those are my memories. You need to go out and make your own memories." Â Ok ... so you want to keep your pictures private, it seem you do not like to share pictures, stories, adventures... well actually you oftentimes will tell some stuff and then invite them to go off into the sunset... rather than sit-down and share the sunset experiences... Oh uh OH once I saw what looked like three suns and about seven rainbows... two full circles around each 'sun' and one 'U' shaped one... they told us that ice crystals had reflected the images and created the effect... it was quite divine...
