skydog Posted November 2, 2012 Ive been doing a ton more art lately, painting quite a lot, it seems because of all my qigong practice the energy goes into my art, and its very shifting for my energy, heart and emotions, even though I was doing lots of qigong I was feeling very shitty before 5 minutes of painting,it seems my higher self heals my body with the colours

joeblast Posted November 13, 2012 last year I decided to build myself a bass guitar cabinet, since the SWR 6x10, 8x10s were looking like more than I wanted to spend... Â ...so I designed, changed, drew, found new and better materials, went way over budget, and built it like I wanted. I dont think I got a good shot at the tweeter attenuator knob on the left side of it, for playable access. The intensity of the tweeter does not increase linearly with the 4x10s. The biggest way over budget thing was because of the neodymium magnets in the speakers, but they saved so much weight I had to spend the extra on them, this thing would be ungodly heavy if those were conventional speakers, it weighs probably 150lbs as it is But with a built in hand truck and strategically place snap handles, its pretty easy to maneuver, we got it up a twisting flight of stairs once This thing should be able to output over a thousand but I've only got 400W x 2 on the preamp anyway.
joeblast Posted November 14, 2012 I'm considering veneering the face of it to make it look pretty. My cats have already made this thing into their personal jungle gym and climbed all over it a thousand times, so the carpet is getting ugly If I have to replace that, it'll be with the tolex stuff that's on the marshall guitar cabs.

Wells Posted November 24, 2012 (edited) The "Night Creature" painting in my last post is NOT made with a 3D program or so! It's simply painted in airbrush-technique with a wacom tablet in photoshop (over a scanned pencil sketch)! Â BTW, has anybody seen my Night Creature lately? It escaped yesterday night from it's dungeon! When you see it, be careful! It loves male blood, haha! Edited November 24, 2012 by Dorian Black
Taomeow Posted November 24, 2012 I like minimalistic interventions that turn random natural things into useful objects without altering them too much. Here's a recent creation of mine, a horn drinking cup. It's supposed to be suspended from a belt when a wandering taoist is, well, wandering:
