I have to be grateful that after 30++ years , I managed to see him for the last time before he went. The British Embassy finally gave over his body to us all when it was found he had no Next Of Kin in UK or anywhere else. Phillip was one of those send to country side from London during WW2. He came back to find a crater in the ground instead of his house. His friends/NOK have been bums like me. And who heard him when he told us he wanted to remain in Batu Pahat.
