HTML view to reduce/fix slogging

I remember that the old forum had the option of switching view to speed up page reload and for increased functionality. I find the "iphone-esque" system of writing quite cumbersome and not interactive at all.

 

You click somewhere on the page you are typing on and the whole text gets highlighted for no reason and even my browser crashes as a result (FF 11.0).

 

Very annoying.

 

How to enable a simpler version of this kind of "smart" forum version?

Well, right now we are in the midst of a different tech difficulty: The forum loads very slow, and often isn't loading at all. Once we get that worked out your problems may vanish. Give us a few days.
