As this is the eight (and last) of the highest energy days of the year, we take today and tomorrow as special days when the Highly Evolved Spirits are more active.

In our household we fast and do purification ceremonies throughout the day and try to avoid events that tax the spirit and the flesh. We especially make an effort to wish well the people who mark our life and project good energy to the new year.

I have long thought of this day as the start of the new year. At least the time to start looking ahead to the new year, and leave the past year behind - as I move through the ever-present now ... Indeed this is one of the most important days I keep for deep meditation and thanks-giving...(as well as a serious house-cleaning!)

 

I sure hope you all are able to share many blessings with your loved-ones!!!!
