mike 134 Posted October 23, 2012 Hi guys, just looking for some advice again I'm a completely non spiritual person who has been suffering from spontaneous kundalini for the last year and a half, apparently triggered by too much physical exercise. I usually post like once every couple of weeks or so bitching about a new symptom, but I really have improved the last couple of months, such that the symptoms are hardly noticeable. Right now I still have nightly expanding heat in the chest and neck, and 2 weeks ago had a freaky astral event, but its way better than the old psychological symptoms I used to manifest. I have returned to vigorous daily physical exercise for the last three months. I do well with aerobic exercises like running and biking where my back doesn't move, but I can't seem to do anything which invovles significant spinal movement, because they cause kundalini symptoms later. For instance, the last time I did abdominal crunches, later that night I was agitated, couldn't sleep, twitched/vibrated all over, and my ears were buzzing. And my neck was spasming like hell too. This also happens after playing tennis (lots of spinal rotation with my forehand shots) and lifting free weights, as opposed to using static weight machines. Does anybody know of anything I can do to avoid these kundalini events, short of ceasing my physical activities? I don't do any spiritual activity (I tried a couple of times but it always leads to symptom deterioration) and shaking around does not appear to have any effect. Also anyone have any idea how long this kundalini is going to last? I would be so damn pissed if it keeps going forever.... seriously its been >15 months already and I've been sick of this kundalini crap since day one. Thanks ppl!! Birch Posted October 23, 2012 Only things I can come up with right now are toning down the intensity of the exercise, BK Frantzis' type meditations, yin yoga and acupuncture. How long it lasts? I don't know. For me the 'worst' was over in about 2.5 years. But it sounds like it was nowhere near as bad as yours. Ask Tao Sempko and/or Santiago at KAP. Or some of the more martial guys who have been there.
mike 134 Posted October 23, 2012 Hey thanks for posting, ur always nice to me I was hoping you'd tell me something non-spiritual though lol. But it sounds like it was nowhere near as bad as yours. Eh... its getting a bit better now, at least physically. I'm probably 90% of where I used to be. You know what, the worst part of it is financial. This crap cost me several hundred thousand, and I want my money back !! Wish there's somebody I could sue
Aetherous Posted October 23, 2012 Forget about sensations and kundalini, and live your life like a normal person. Work out early in the day if doing it later gives you insomnia. Find ways to relax, and do what other people do for insomnia. Twitching/vibrations/muscle spasms...those are not bad symptoms whatsoever. Vertigo would be a bad symptom. Having a whole body rash would be bad. Insomnia is somewhat bad, but that might not even be kundalini in this case. It can quiet down completely to the point of being normal. Of course...you're not exactly normal compared to the average person. But it can seem so, and you don't have to go around thinking you have this kundalini problem. At least this is my point of view, at this time, for you.
de_paradise Posted October 23, 2012 I think Kundalini will outlast your resistance. You are wasting your time resisting. I know you have plans, a life, perhaps a desired future, but now its changed. The longer you wait to start integrating your life to a spiritual path, the more stupid you realize you have been when you finally stop resisting.

Birch Posted October 23, 2012 Right. Not when you just fall over in the street for no reason. Not when terror strikes as you realize 'you' have a closer relationship to dead things than anything else. It definitely depends on how you understand it. Currently, I'm going with the 'don't worry about it' idea. 'She' is black Kali as well as Durga.

mike 134 Posted October 24, 2012 (edited) Having a whole body rash would be bad Hi turtle what kind of rash are you talking about? Let me tell you what happened to me one time about 2 months ago.... I was getting some action, ya know, and just as I finished the deed I felt a wave of heat rushing up my torso. But then I noticed a red rash all over my chest, abdomen, and upper arms. It was a temporary rash lasting only a couple of seconds, looks like mottled erythema. And I was like WTF was that, it can't be a coincidence. Never happened since though. Yeah I'm totally trying to ignore this stuff I just assume all of it doesn't exist, and I don't want it to exist. I think being totally non-spiritual probably helps. It's not like it was in my life to begin with so that's no problem. I'm an active dude I'm always on the run, can't imagine myself sitting on my butt doing yoga poses lol. No real point in defending my positions on a spiritual forum though, I mean, I personally believe it's all a biological/biochemical derangement, but most of you think otherwise. To each their own I guess. What on earth have you been up to? And why wasn't I your guru;-) Let's just say I was making $$$$ before this disaster but now I'm only making $. I know money doesn't buy happiness but losing money definitely causes unhappiness Uh... just played a long bout of tennis.... hopefully I won't get agitated Edited October 24, 2012 by mike
Birch Posted October 24, 2012 (edited) That's not what I'd call a rash ;-) I wouldn't claim anything for most of anyone. However, between a contextualisation that puts an experience into positive mythological language and another one that puts one in the 'deranged' category, I sure as hell know which I'd rather pick:-) Sorry for your $$ loss. If it helps any, studies show that after 75K$ there's not much net happiness. Edit: Yoga is not about sitting on your butt. The few guys in my class sweat it. Very much. Edit: Suddenly thought 'shit' what if I don't point out the vascular and BP thing. Probably should check those out. I'm not an MD.
