GrandmasterP Posted November 16, 2012 OK Better example. A map. Narrate your journey from A to B so that I , not knowing the route; can get to B. No thank you, I'd likely forget unless I took extensive notes as you spoke. Give me a map on the other hand and I'm on my way.

GrandmasterP Posted November 16, 2012 I thought you said you had eidetic memory ?? ....... Oh yes I'd forgotten about that. ;-) Â Eidetic as in very good at remembering images, even images of the printed word. Show me and I'm there, tell me and I am pretty useless as Mrs GrandmasterP will happily testify. (At great length and with reference to incidents going back years and years). GrandmasterP Posted November 16, 2012 Â I did actually depicted two graphs for you... for example a circle and a horizontal line... and then provided you with a single function dependent variable = constant... Take that function and graph it in polar and cartesian coordinate systems and you will get a circle and a horizontal line... .......... And your point is? Stosh Posted November 16, 2012 (edited) The notion that a map is better than directions does seem to support the idea of eidetic memory... Â Yeah its often visual but not always he never said , I guess that eidetic memory sure isnt what its cracked up to be if you still need to draw him a map Heck I can use one of them thar things Edited November 16, 2012 by Stosh
GrandmasterP Posted November 16, 2012 Eidetic memory is on the autistic spectrum, you may have noticed that I post quite a lot. That's another symptom.
