How religions use guilt as an excuse to justify controlling others

Religious organizations are doing far more to manipulate people than threaten them with hell or perdition for sinning. As said in this post on coerced gay conversion therapy, they actually go so far as to poison gays or force them to undergo hormonal feminization without their knowledge by adulterating their food and water. It can also be applied to keep men from fornicating in general because it's a form of castration.

 

Even verbal manipulation can be elevated into a form of coerced brainwashing when someone becomes a target of subliminal therapy, particularly if transmitted with the help of modern technology. I hope no one here ever is victimized with what I call stealth intercession. It can leave terrible scars.
