message to update SQL server?

For some reason I was getting the following message when I opened thetaobums.com in my browser:

I looked up what this could mean and seems an SQL server is only needed by businesses? Not sure why I would need one to open the forum index.

Yeah, I was getting it as well. I've had it before when there were site problems. I wasn't able to get on earlier either.
