Marblehead Posted December 8, 2012 Feck duality. Maybe we should have two words One for beliefs that bind (a) and a different word for beliefs that liberate ( . Something along the lines of... a: Bad b: Good Nice thoughts but I think that has been tried before.
Birch Posted December 8, 2012 Osho still reminds me of a border collie. Ever since I first saw him. Anyways, given we no longer require ashrams to frolick in (we're allowed to frolick without a great deal of societal frownage) what would an Osho-brand ashram offer anyone today? GrandmasterP Posted December 8, 2012 If you use "More Reply Options" at the bottom right you can uncheck "Enable emoticons" which will prevent unusual formatting like that. ........ Job done. Top man yerself sir. thank you for that useful tip. GrandmasterP Posted December 8, 2012 But but but if we have two words that would still be a duality... Personally I transcend the duality of what is and what isn't through the singularity of what be... that be I use the is-isn't when referring to duality and use be when referring to singularity of being... the other distinction I use involves a reference to the validity of stuff... note that true is 100% validity and false is 0% validity... ......... I see. Thank you that makes a lot of sense et and I can understand your posts the better for the explanation. Not so sure about 100% true being true though. Just back from nursing home to see Mrs GMPs gradually expiring 94 year old husband of her 60 year old aunty (he millionaire widower Mrs GMPs aunty was his PA, fill any gaps in yourself). "You are looking well John" says I. Now that was not 100% true but it needed to be said. William Booth who founded the Salvation Army said... "I shall tell the truth should Heaven fall". He'd not have been welcome in that palliative care suite this morning.

Isimsiz Biri Posted December 8, 2012 (edited) I have watched the video. It lists many criticisms about religion but particularly Christianity. Although I agree with some of the criticisms but in general, it reaches a result against religion that I totally disagree. This is the unfortunate situation of Western thought may be since Reform & Renaissance. Since the original teachings of Jesus Christ had been changed completely by Vatican and Orthodox Churchs, Reform and following Renaissance, Age of Enlightenment, Industrial revolution and so on, the Western individual had to put a great distance between her/himself and Christianity since 16th century. However, that transformed Christianity was not the religion sent by God Almighty. It is also difficult to explain a later revision of God's religion, Islam to Western intellectual, due to historical reasons and the wrong applications of Muslims. It is also the main reason I am always under attack here. Edited December 8, 2012 by Recep Ivedik

Isimsiz Biri Posted December 8, 2012 it would be better if we focused on the topic of this thread... as I sort of have said a couple of times... "this thread focuses on the topics of... religion poison spirituality... you put a video and I stated... "the video you present puts forth a biased way... why is that ? what is it trying to promote? who is it trying to appease? " From your responses its evident to me you do not want to focus on the topics of this thread... now can we please focus on the topics of this thread... Just to help you, true spiritualism can be reached through true religious practice. Other ways will take you to lap of negatives.
Isimsiz Biri Posted December 8, 2012 I appreciate your intelligent feedback to this video, and the return of the focus to the subject of the thread. I do not appreciate anything of you, stay away, have fun somewhere else

Isimsiz Biri Posted December 8, 2012 (edited) Can you elaborate on the main reason you are always under attack? I have already explained but let me do it again. I am under attack because of: 1- Prejudices of Western people about Islam. The 9/11 attacks, etc. can be given as example 2- There is a hidden thought of Crusaders in the minds of Western people. According to Western mind, the Crusaders and particularly Templar Knights were good people. In fact, they were blood thirsty warriors serving the negative side. Nobody mentions it but it is quite obvious many people attack me with Crusader spirit. 3- I am confronting many thoughts that have been memorized by people here. Can you elaborate on the religion sent by God Almighty... It is Islam. You can find it in Holy Quran. Even a single letter of Holy Quran was not changed. And in the video that was given by Viator, the man says "Holy Bible was written by many writers in a rather long duration". He is right. Unfortunately, the original Holy Bible was changed by men. Personally I think religion, spirituality, and many other stuff can be succinctly put into... 'Love as God Loves' or "Do as God would Do"! and even shorter version would be: "LOVE"! This is also a shortcoming of modern Western women and men. Of course, God Almighty has created us with the energy of Love, no objection. However, this is a rather childish explanation of God and God's creation. Yes, God created us with Love. Period. What else? Which qualities of God is related with Human Beings? There is no answer? Only Love? The Western world is not aware of the 99 Beautiful Names of God. (http://en.wikipedia....of_God_in_Islam): Ar Rahman (الرحمن) The All Beneficent Ar Rahim (الرحيم) The Most Merciful Al Malik (الملك) The King, The Sovereign Al Quddus (القدوس) The Most Holy As Salam (السلام) Peace and Blessing Al Mu'min (المؤمن) The Guarantor Al Muhaymin (المهيمن) The Guardian, the Preserver Al 'Aziz (العزيز) The Almighty, the Self Sufficient Al Jabbar (الجبار) The Powerful, the Irresistible Al Mutakabbir (المتكبر) The Tremendous Al Khaliq (الخالق) The Creator Al Bari' (البارئ) The Maker Al Musawwir (المصور) The Fashioner of Forms Al Ghaffar (الغفار) The Ever Forgiving Al Qahhar (القهار) The All Compelling Subduer Al Wahhab (الوهاب) The Bestower Ar Razzaq (الرزاق) The Ever Providing Al Fattah (الفتاح) The Opener, the Victory Giver Al Alim (العليم) The All Knowing, the Omniscient Al Qabid (القابض) The Restrainer, the Straightener Al Basit (الباسط) The Expander, the Munificent Al Khafid (الخافض) The Abaser Ar Rafi' (الرافع) The Exalter Al Mu'izz (المعز) The Giver of Honor Al Mudhill (المذل) The Giver of Dishonor Al Sami' (السميع) The All Hearing Al Basir (البصير) The All Seeing Al Hakam (الحكم) The Judge, the Arbitrator Al 'Adl (العدل) The Utterly Just Al Latif (اللطيف) The Subtly Kind Al Khabir (الخبير) The All Aware Al Halim (الحليم) The Forbearing, the Indulgent Al 'Azim (العظيم) The Magnificent, the Infinite Al Ghafur (الغفور) The All Forgiving Al Shakur (الشكور) The Grateful Al 'Ali (العلى) The Sublimely Exalted Al Kabir (الكبير) The Great Al Hafiz (الحفيظ) The Preserver Al Muqit (المقيت) The Nourisher Al Hasib (الحسيب) The Reckoner Al Jalil (الجليل) The Majestic Al Karim (الكريم) The Bountiful, the Generous Ar Raqib (الرقيب) The Watchful Al Mujib (المجيب) The Responsive, the Answerer Al Wasi' (الواسع) The Vast, the All Encompassing Al Hakim (الحكيم) The Wise Al Wadud (الودود) The Loving, the Kind One Al Majid (المجيد) The All Glorious Al Ba'ith (الباعث) The Raiser of the Dead Ash Shahid (الشهيد) The Witness Al Haqq (الحق) The Truth, the Real Al Wakil (الوكيل) The Trustee, the Dependable Al Qawiyy (القوى) The Strong Al Matin (المتين) The Firm, the Steadfast Al Wali (الولى) The Protecting Friend, Patron, and Helper Al Hamid (الحميد) The All Praiseworthy Al Muhsi (المحصى) The Accounter, the Numberer of All Al Mubdi' (المبدئ) The Producer, Originator, and Initiator of all Al Mu'id (المعيد) The Reinstater Who Brings Back All Al Muhyi (المحيى) The Giver of Life Al Mumit (المميت) The Bringer of Death, the Destroyer Al Hayy (الحي) The Ever Living Al Qayyum (القيوم) The Self Subsisting Sustainer of All Al Wajid (الواجد) The Perceiver, the Finder, the Unfailing Al Majid (الماجد) The Illustrious, the Magnificent Al Wahid (الواحد) The One, the All Inclusive, the Indivisible Al Ahad (الاحد) The One, the Unique As Samad (الصمد) The Long, the Impregnable, the Everlasting Al Qadir (القادر) The All Able Al Muqtadir (المقتدر) The All Determiner, the Dominant Al Muqaddim (المقدم) The Expediter, He who brings forward Al Mu'akhkhir (المؤخر) The Delayer, He who puts far away Al Awwal (الأول) The First Al Akhir (الأخر) The Last Az Zahir (الظاهر) The Manifest; the All Victorious Al Batin (الباطن) The Hidden; the All Encompassing Al Wali (الوالي) The Patron Al Muta'al (المتعالي) The Self Exalted Al Barr (البر) The Most Kind and Righteous At Tawwab (التواب) The Ever Returning, Ever Relenting Al Muntaqim (المنتقم) The Avenger Al 'Afuww (العفو) The Pardoner, the Effacer of Sins Ar Ra'uf (الرؤوف) The Compassionate, the All Pitying Malik al Mulk (مالك) (الملك) The Owner of All Sovereignty Dhu al Jalal wa al Ikram (ذو الجلال و الإكرام) The Lord of Majesty and Generosity Al Muqsit (المقسط) The Equitable, the Requiter Al Jami' (الجامع) The Gatherer, the Unifier Al Ghani (الغنى) The All Rich, the Independent Al Mughni (المغنى) The Enricher, the Emancipator Al Mani'(المانع) The Withholder, the Shielder, the Defender Ad Dharr (الضآر) The Distresser An Nafi' (النافع) The Propitious, the Benefactor An Nur (النور) The Light Al Hadi (الهادي) The Guide Al Badi (البديع) Incomparable, the Originator Al Baqi (الباقي) The Ever Enduring and Immutable Al Warith (الوارث) The Heir, the Inheritor of All Ar Rashid (الرشيد) The Guide, Infallible Teacher, and Knower As Sabur (الصبور) The Patient, the Timeless God wants us to know all these names and learn them and get the Nur, the light of these 99 energies within ourselves. Isimsiz Biri Posted December 8, 2012 I would not have interjected here, but since you saw fit to talk about me, I don't feel too bad replying. I can't speak for other members here, but the reason that I posted the video I did is that it was very funny. Several people agreed. You should expect when you make your avatar based on what is essentially the Turkish version of Borat that people will find this a bit humorous. It is unfortunate that you took this personally, but given your general approach toward board members at the time I don't feel bad for posting it. You should understand that it was not meant in a mean way, I have found some of the things you have said here to be genuinely useful. I hope you understand and have no hard feelings. I do not care you, I do not care your thoughts, I do not care what you say. I am not taking anything personally. You misunderstood. You are not worth to talk
Isimsiz Biri Posted December 8, 2012 (edited) Thanks will have to think on what you posted... BTW when one knows love... all the divine names and attributes naturally flourish and manifest... so yes God can be reduced to a single word... LOVE... its the guiding light ever enduring and immutable Incomparable, the Originator Infallible Teacher, and Knower Patient, Timeless... of course when I say love... I refer to love as God loves not some childish personal interpretation individuals think of... I mean the real deal... I know you are referring to real deal. But that real deal is not sufficient to describe God in humanity's level. That is the reason why 99 Beautiful Names of God Almighty have been introduced to humanity.
