Okay, if I can't have any peace, and the world doesn't end...then I want to be excused from Christmas shopping and presents.

 

I must have a defective X chromosome, really dislike shopping, don't even like going to the grocery store, makes me feel too domesticated.

Dear Santa,

a Lottery win would be quite nice around now, in order that:

 

1: All Family, Friends, etc can get the Presents they deserve, rather than the ones I can actually afford.

2: Ditto (big time) for my Partner, as she's always put herself last, behind kids, me, her mum, etc etc.

3: I'd like to make a BIG donation to various charities.....

4: We''d both like to have enough money / savings, to give up work (hate Monday mornings).

She'd then like to do Charity work, I'd like to study the Li Arts full time. In order to help improve

the health of others, as well as myself.

 

But failing a HUGE win, a few extra quid would be useful to help do up the House.

As the Roofs leaking...

Just wanted to share... when i was teaching in china i had a class where i taught all the kids about xmas. At the end of the class 1 boy came up to me and asked me, 'Is it true in Australia at christmas time all the children get presents?' I said yes, and he said 'Oh, thats verrry nice' haha. Poor asian kids don't know what they're missing out on

They have a pretty sweet new year celebration... I think they get gifts too?

 

 

I think the worst part about christmas is the commercial aspect.

 

+ the primary concern being about presents...???

 

The most enjoyable part is spending time with family and friends.

For Christmas, I would like to establish myself a little, gain some form of income at least. Ideally, i'd like to get a massive chunk of work done pertaining to some creative works I have under my hat and have them prepared and ready for some form of income making venture! It's not really asking for much is it

Kids, Shopkeepers & Christmas Card / Wrapping Paper Manufacturers mostly IMHO !!!

 

As for the rest of us, it's a pain trying to do any "normal" shopping, during a one hour lunchbreak in December.

When the rest of the population decides to wander around slowly & aimlessly getting in everyone else's way..
