So what is a troll besides someone who doesn't buy into the whole supernatural power thing?

I'm prob not worth your time because I'm obviously not buying into any BULLSHIT!

I doubt that you have much of a background in science. One who is interested in real investigation has no personal bias and asks questions as opposed to insistent put downs of others. If you believe it is BS, then leave this forum. FYI, I have friends who are world class scientists; Los Alamos National Labs, Sandia Labs and The Santa Fe Institute. Having discussions with them is much more interesting as opposed to listening to constant neg. bantering. The best quality I find with real scientists is a passionate curiosity and the ability to engage others with questions, without subjecting others to discriminatory bias.

But if your appearances are ANY indication of your substance, it is malicious.

A quote from a member of this forum whom I just helped minutes ago with answering an important question regarding his training:

Thanks Dorian. You are the best!

There are many persons on this forum whom I already helped and whom I continue helping via PM or skype concerning his/her training questions!

Completely gratis, of course!

I wasnt positing an argument, but an observation.

Stig just helped me to come to the realization that there are people who deserve this knowledge, to train with it and to reap the harvest.

And there are people who don't.

That's all.

That's certainly my personal opinion and my subjective position.

Everything is determined from the Null hypothesis, or the one without change, pls don't pretend to know.

The null hypothesis is either accepted or rejected against the predicted change.

Here is a great place to start if you want to learn something:

Fine. However, all you have contributed are nothing but emotional responses with no data. Just because you present a link assuming that others know nothing here proves nothing.

There is a difference in statistics between probabilities and absolute prophetic utterances. You fall in the latter group. FYI, I have 50 hrs. of math including Bayesian analysis (800 level). I am not fooled by your responses that are absolute in nature.

Then you know nothing is predicted within certainty and your argument is baseless.

"The final conclusion once the test has been carried out is always given in terms of the null hypothesis. We either "Reject H0 in favour of H1" or "Do not reject H0". We never conclude "Reject H1", or even "Accept H1"."

Do you see enough change occuring in the predicition to reject the null hypothesis in regards to supernatural powers anytime soon?

Over a thousand have tried and none have produced any expected changes.

It's enough said.

A short videoclip of Michael Phillips that proves 100% that Phillips uses kinetic energy waves/vibrations!

It's IMPOSSIBLE to do this with simple muscle activity!

Donwload the clip, watch again and again the seconds where Phillips transfers Jing!

Watch closely how his forearms move and how they transfer kinetic energy waves/vibrations in such a magnitude that they flow into his opponents body and throw him backwards!

Every claim that Phillips DOESN'T have the Jing is therefore complete BS!

Everybody who is intelligent and observant enough: Please comment about what I mean!

http://youtu.be/FZf5efMQqwY

Therefore: Physical contact is very well needed due to the kinetic nature of the Jing energy!

This is very good skill being demonstrated but I would not consider it an extraordinary skill. I believe most Taiji practitioners can develop such a skill over time as long as one does not try to develop the skill. It comes naturally. It uses the same Peng Jin (Intrinsic Strength) technique coupled with some technique for compression and uprooting. I do this all the time, even with heavier and well trained external martial arts people. However, it is almost impossible to do with someone who is very well grounded such as a Xingyi practitioner.

It is good that you recognize the skill and I am quite sure that if you do not have such a skill at present, over time it will develop with quiet practice.

When I say "Subtle Jin" I mean the light or no touch versions ... just touching someone's arm or body and they go bouncey bounce down the hall ... or the no touch versions.

I do not discount the possibility of such a skill, but I feel that if there is someone who can exhibit such skill, it will be very rare and probably such person is practicing in some mountain village in China (or thereabouts). It would not be realistic for a taiji student to expect such results. However, if it comes, then one has attained a very high degree of skill and knowledge.

Actually I don't discount the possibility either. Let me be really clear that, personally, my fundamental intent is progression of the art. I love Taijiquan, I love Taoist philosophy and associated arts and I truly believe there is so much there that can benefit people from all walks of life.

But, in my opinion, the whole art is being distorted and stunted by all the fakes and frauds who seem to have a free and open license to make any and all claims without being held accountable. It is both morally and legally a crime.

Several years ago when I started asking simple questions like "where is the proof?" I was continuously attacked and denigrated for doing so by these "masters" and their groupies. Instead of simply showing credible evidence, which is what every other industry has to do, they continue to throw up a veneer of verboseness whilst never "coming to the party" in terms of evidence.

I really am not out to attack or smear individual teachers, but I have to admit my methods of approach have become a lot more "ruthless" because of the crap that I have had to deal with. My patience and diplomacy is in short supply when it comes to wading through the nonsense that some folks put forth. These days I usually just go, "Put up or shut up" ... as you have seen.

;)
