BrEric Posted April 8, 2013 Greetings everyone. I have read posts on here before and thought I should register as well. I am a Christian monk and a reader of philosophical Taoism (esp. Tao Te Ching and I Ching). I look forward to learning from you all.
Guest Jason Croft Posted April 8, 2013 Is it possible that the word God was meant to describe 'Natural Law' ?
Basher Posted April 8, 2013 Could Mankind cope without believing in God / Gods ? Â If God(s) didn't / doesn't exist, would we need to invent it/them ?
BrEric Posted April 9, 2013 Jason, of course it is possible, though I do not think so. Basher, yes I believe many a human being seems to cope quite well without such belief. As to your second question I cannot answer with any integrity, but it does seem that perhaps we could have imagined a better one than some of the ones described by various believers of different religions.
