rene Posted May 28, 2013 (edited) I've seen all kinds of sayings and "quotes" attributed to Laozi, and they seem to fall into one of three types: 1) direct, 2) inspired by a chapter, and 3) 'aint no way'. LOL The one in the pic below, feels like it may have been 'inspired'...but I can't place which chapter the inspiration might have come from: Any ideas? Thanks! The closest I find is Flowing Hands opening of 65: CHAPTER 65 When the first Sage became enlightened and he became at one with the Dao, he did not try and influence others.
