This topic is highly important for humanity these days, since it boosts consciousness and personal development by lightyears!

Feel free to comment on the original post (or here) - since I do not want to double post this here, just make the information more wider available to anyone who is interested.

Namaste.

I've read about some methods that involve sun gazing from another school and they mention the necessity to do moon gazing also to balance the heat and to make sure the eyes aren't damaged.

Any comments on this from your perspective?

Yes this is extremely powerful

Have done some sungazing, and it seemed that my whole day would be non stop epiphanies...

In the last full moon i did 15-20 minutes moongazing for 3 days, the moon has a very loving energy and the effect on my third eye was ridiculous (all the energy went there to be unblocked and I got a headached one day well not really a headache but the sick energy was all there and was taking forever to come out, the next day when I did it, I started spontaneously healing myself and punching my forehead for like 2 hours whilst in bed in order to heal the energy...

updated interview with the subject of that documentary -- Mason Dwinell.

I'm still confused by this dude - the doc shows him going to the doctor who tests his eyes and tells him that his eyes have been damaged.

So he's still..... promoting this?

Qigong master Chunyi Lin says it's o.k. when the sun is very low on the horizon.....

I've been trying to refind a book about a hindu guy doing dark retreats and living a very very long time.

pythagoreanfulllotus, do you know what book this is?

pythagoreanfulllotus, do you know what book this is?

No but I do recommend "This House is on fire" - biography of Shri Dhyanyogi.

http://www.amazon.com/This-House-Fire-Life-Dhyanyogi/dp/1883879523

Guruji started his spiritual quest as a boy, lived mainly in caves while practicing mantra yoga for over 30 years, attained a high level of mystical experience in his forties, continued to practice sadhana in very isolated villages, and became a public teacher in his eighties.

from a reviewer -

he lived to 116 years.

So....

Michael offered to teach me his version, but I forgot to ask when we were in person.

Oh wow i'll try to remember to ask him at the workshop.

You generally should be... let me avoid the word "careful"... more aware with the moon. Since the moon can be seen as the aetheric body of the sun. Both "planets" can be seen as spiritual beings with different purposes. But you better research it for yourself, since moon-gazing is not in my being's interest.

Have you ever heard of a red moon when a heavy war was going on on earth? Or that suicide rates are higher at full moon? This is no coincidence, there are no coincidences.

You can balance your emotions when you actively interact with the moon. Staring into the moon, passively and hope for good weather will bring you unwanted negative aspects into your being. So you can speak affirmations into the moon, while gazing like "Dear entity, I now witness, we call moon, be kind and purify my emotions to a level of wellbeing/beneficial to all aspects of my being." Again, you have to interact in some active form :)

This also goes for the sun. These are merely vehicles, very powerful ones!

I am honest, I have to fully understood their purpose either. Some say we can only see them because we have the sun inside us, in our inner cosmos. I once thought about it that way, that the sun was created for us as a physical representation of God/Source, so we never forget when we are here. Anyway, always seek self-experience, mostly everything else is more or less meaningless

Something to contemplate about, regarding the sun:

When quantum physics are correct, and they are, and we live in a multiverse and the past, present and future happen at the same time and will always happen at the same time, then since day 1, all beings who whorshipped the sun, put affirmations into the sun, are all combined still looking into the sun right at this very moment. Every-being. Can anyone fathom this? Such an ENORMOUS focal point of good intention!! Whenever I contemplate about it, I am speechless and it feels completely true, to me.

well there is a "hindu guy" who traveled the cosmos and was in himalaya only with a thin cloth during -50°C. he is "the" teacher that re-introduced sun-yoga from ancient scripts... maybe that helps aswell

search google for "sun yoga uma sankar"

There's something to it, but its a dangerous practice. You only have 2 eyes, damaging them is really bad. My own version is to with a low sun and I'll keep my eyes closed, I still get beautiful phosphorescence light coming through and 'fill' my body and bones up with them ( a healing tao exercise). Only time I'll really stare at the sun is when its covered with clouds to the point its appears more like the moon.

If I had an experienced live teacher it might be different. The riskier a technique, the more you need a teacher there with you. It doesn't bode well that some tao bum experimenters ended up stopping the practice.

There is no risk involved in the 45 minutes before sunset/after sunrise...if anything it will help ones eyes.

I personally do not feel that a technique is only valid if it is reccomended by a guru but I guess each to their own.

I've practiced sun gazing with trataka and gotten very good results. Results that nevertheless scared me out of doing any more dabbling within the practice of trataka.

But like it was stated before the window for sun gazing is fairly narrow, I believe that those who injured themselves were being careless in regarding them.

what I'm curious of are solar neutrinos and weak force interactions

looking with 3rd is different than looking with two ;)

what I'm curious of are solar neutrinos and weak force interactions

looking with 3rd is different than looking with two ;)

I go into this in my book:

Costa de Beauregard suggests that such transmutations neither take place through

strong interactions, nor through electromagnetic forces, but through the weak

interaction. This takes place through the neutral current of the intermediate vector

boson, the so called Zo, particle recently discovered by particle physicists.

Kervran's reaction for a biological transmutation from Potassium (K) to Calcium

(Ca) in germinating oats is thus explained as being initiated by neutrino capture

(from cosmic rays) and the weak interaction follows mediated by the Z, neutral

current (the Zo probably existing as a virtual particle)....

It would seem that this formula has brought the reality of these transmutations

into the theoretical framework of modern physics. We thus see that in living matter there not only occurs the chemical reactions (electromagnetic forces) of

photosynthesis involving the absorption of photons of light from the sun, but also

weak interactions that can effect the nuclear structure of matter, activated through

the participation of cosmic energy in the form of neutrinos that stream down upon

the earth from the depths of the universe. A full awareness of the consequences of

these ideas should have a profound influence upon many domains of modern

science, not least in agriculture, dietetics and healing. In my article on 'The Ethers and the Fundamental Forces of Physics' in the

Hermetic Journal Number 9, I pointed out that the weak interaction bore a

relationship to the transforming ether known in esotericism.

Indeed, I there related

that this transforming ether “promotes the multiplicity of forms within the

material realm through its transmutative quality of etheric force”. Thus with Louis

Kervran's profoundly important work we could stand upon the threshold of a

turning point in the physical sciences, and we seem to have the meeting ground

between contemporary Physics and an esoteric science of the ethers. One can only

hope that such research is fully followed up and the profound implications for the

present rigid view of the mechanism of living matter are not missed. Indeed can it

be that the transmutations of the ancient alchemists may again gain scientific

respectability?663

Adam McLean, “Some Notes on the work of Louis Kervan, Hermetic Journal, 1981.

Kervan's notion is supported by the fact of the deuterium nucleus has a lower

energy state than two independent hydrogen nuclei on their own. This reaction

involves the change of proton to neutron via the well documented transformation

put out by Pauli and Enrico Fermi in the early 20th century now known in Gauge

Theory....Ok, where do I get neutrinos! Actually, you're soaking in them!

Close to 10^11 neutrinos per second pass through every square centimeter here on

earth. Where do they come they from? Guess what, the SUN! (unless of course

you live closer to a nuclear reactor!) Oh light that shineth in darkness, yet the

darkness...Wasn't it said, that he who could combine the rays of the sun would

obtain a most efficacious medicine? In fact every star or process which involves free neutrons will produce them. And a check of the nearest stars to our corner of

the universe will produce other insights into seasonal variance among other things

for those in the know...The neutrino, however, is highly unreactive with ordinary

matter. Only 1 in 100,000,000 react with the mass of the earth in passage.

Michael Prescott, “David Hudson – the white gold,” Alchemy Website Forum.

Now this is "theoretical" which means that science - inherently -- can not provide a "Unified" theory - why?

Because the weak force creates quantum non-commutative dynamics - which is the same as the Tai Chi energy -- it is not based on Western symmetric commutative math.

Due to the weak force of electron beta decay relying on the “massless” neutrino for

mathematical symmetry (and now for 90% of the universe mass), there is a crack in the

mathematics of quantum chaos spatial symmetry. Hence the various Doppler red-blue shift

spacetime conundrums of cosmology – and of DMT consciousness. The secret beyond Professor

Taussig's What is the Color of the Sacred? new book. “In the case of the Universe, the Big Bang

itself; the moment of creation, is at infinite redshift, and can never be seen directly.” (p. 47,

Cosmic Coincidences, emphasize italicized in the book)

“The potassium in a banana is radioactive” says

cosmologist Andy Albrecht in “Is There A Creator?” of the Through The Wormhole Science

Channel series states – potassium is a byproduct of the left-handed weak force which accounts

for radiation.575

Right brain lefthand force – the weak force is the reason that the four forces can not be unified. In Taoist Yoga it states to eat no salt, which would also dramatically change your

potassium to sodium ratio. I followed this salt free diet but I also got sodium from soy and

vegetables. The latest research is that melanocortins activate the sodium-potassium differences

via ACTH from the serotonin. Most importantly this is proven to act via the HPI/HPA –

hypothalamus-pituitary-interrenal/adrenal axis.

Michael R. Markham, Suan J. Allee, Anna Godlina, and Philip K. Stoddar, “Melanocortins regulate the electric

waveforms of gymnotiform electric fish,” Hormones and Behavior, Volume 55, Issue 2, February 2009, Pages 306-

313

Peter Woit's book Not Even Wrong provides the best expose of theoretical physics and

emphasizes how the “mirror-asymmetric nature” of the left-handed weak field has messed everything up.397

2006), p. 154.
