Formless Tao

The decline and eventual fall of the USA as world superpower?

Recommended Posts

Don't worry about my anger we're miles away :D

With all due respect and before you get angry : I'm not saying we do better, even if I'm much more comfortable with our system.

That's what I talk about when I speak about different background, you are so much about the self made man in a free country's cult that it's like you have no cultural knowledge of the common interest, what we call "public service" is seen as communist (communism is not that) which as been shown as the Russian devil for decades. -> I suppose I caricature.

When the gov provides a public service, it is not intended to make profit but to do the best for the majority. Of course everyone pays for that but everyone need or may need it one day or another. So maybe you'll win 1000 euros instead of 2000 euros but health care, is provided, if you lost your job you'll be helped for a moment. We call that solidarity.

Where we truly have a problem is that an enterprise of 1 or 2 people will pay taxes on the same rules than a 20 000 enterprise size so this lonely hard worker guy will work for cheap and that's quiet not encouraging. I admit it, he pays to much his freedom. And on the opposite, mega corporations have financial advantages, they get bigger, richer and more powerful. It's been a long time since money men are more powerful than citizens. Will you tell me, this is the way things are and have to be ?

I maintain I'm not very interested in that subject but I'll read you with attention.

Wish you all a nice good day !

Seems to me that in general Europe is much more civilized than the U.S.

"this is the way things are and have to be ?"

i do not subscribe to such a narrow view and i think the lessons of history show us things can change rather swiftly.

410 may have happened quite long ago.

1789 not nearly so far back.

1917 closer still.

The Horatio Alger myth of "simply lift themselves up by their own bootstraps" and "rags to riches" has been used as a diversionary/divisive tactic. The erroneous concept that one achieves success independently from others is a moot point. Nothing happens in isolation.

Who is appointed to challenge and by whom?

anyone who has interest has the authority to challenge - and who's got interest, anyone being stepped on by the government for these things that the government arbitrarily defines as necessary and proper.

The Horatio Alger myth of "simply lift themselves up by their own bootstraps" and "rags to riches" has been used as a diversionary/divisive tactic. The erroneous concept that one achieves success independently from others is a moot point. Nothing happens in isolation.

has been, therefore any and every time it is used it is simply a diversionary tactic and you dont recognize its veracity....why not just finish it to its logical conclusion instead of leaving all that rest inferred?

yes, impetus only comes form the collective, it coming from the individual is merely some myth. everything is connected and nobody can sit there and decide for himself that he will do XYZ to achieve ABC and put in all the legwork to get it done.

or wait, he used a road someone else built, so that negates any individual effort to achieve ABC.

I sometimes wonder if you realize that's how you come across, but then your further words & actions back it up to enough of an extent one cant really infer otherwise from your statements.

oh, its funny how the equivalence disappears ever so quickly when useful. so obvious, its pathetic. of course, only Climate Scientsists™ have the ability to analyze and predict (guffaw) the Climate...but Statistics? Man, we all take that, cmon, anyone who's been to college has taken a stats class,

and of course there's not enough depth to the field that one can actually be Pro at it...I mean, what does Pro mean in other fields?

you tired of getting schooled on this one yet?

A sampling of the undergraduate Physics program at MIT has required coursework in 'Statistical Physics'.

http://web.mit.edu/physics/current/undergrad/undergrad_program.pdf

Here is a good one 'Statistical Mechanics.'

Forgot to add Nonlinear Dynamics and Chaos which is the mathematical and statistical basis for climate science.

NATO Members Conduct False Flag Terror In Attempt to Whip Up War

Pulitzer-prize winning investigative reporter Seymour Hersh (who uncovered the Iraq prison torture scandal and the Mai Lai massacre in Vietnam) says that high-level American sources tell him that the Turkish government carried out the chemical weapons attacks blamed on the Syrian government.

Indeed, it’s long been known that sarin was coming through Turkey.

Turkey is a member of NATO. So we’re really talking about a NATO member launching a false flag attack against a non-NATO member, and then blaming it on the victim.

Indeed, a new tape recording of top Turkish officials planning a false flag attack to be blamed on Syria as a causus belli was just leaked a couple of weeks ago, and confirmed by Turkey as being authentic.

In other words, since the last big Turkish false flag didn’t succeed in launching war against Syria, they’re going to try again.

This is not the first false flag by NATO members. For example:

Postscript: We're not picking on NATO members …the Nazis, Soviets, Algerians, Indonesians, Israelis and others have used false flag terror as well.

bubba moneybags and daddy warbucks step out of the shadows,

its a brave new world

Ironically, because the stock market has done so well under Obama, they've made back multiples of the hundred million plus they've spent backing candidates that ran him.

you forgot the quotes around "done so well" because it'd be an entirely different set of entities "doing well" if failure was an option for TBTF, TBTJ. because they would have failed long ago were it not for a rigged casino.

Yeah, Harry Reid needs to make some money with that solar company he's invested in, so have the feds treat Nevada like "well, we bought it all those years ago, so it belong to us" and tell these folks their cattle that have been grazing there for however long in the family, well, sorry fellas, this is our land, not yours, pay up or we're going to come after you with guns and the full faith and credit oh wait...

apparently he thinks stand your ground laws are dumb when white people use them, but if a black mom fires a warning shot? stop right there pal, you failed right at "warning shot."

its all the republicans fault, and they are the only ones that have been bought by the corporations  really?? to quote papa there, who the hell even believes this shit? apparently white people who have been taught to hate the color of their skin and blame all the evils of the world on republicans and corporations.

the owners of redteamblueteam smile at the help they get from idiots like this.

Bundy and his ilk are cowards in that they were considering putting women on the front line so that they would be shot first. I guess these cretins need to hide behind mommy. Psychopathic behavior! No different than the Taliban.

http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2014/04/14/former-arizona-sheriff-reveals-chilling-strategy-to-put-women-up-at-the-front-during-bundy-ranch-standoff/#

“We were actually strategizing to put all the women up at the front,” he said. “If they are going to start shooting, it’s going to be women that are going to be televised all across the world getting shot by these rogue federal officers.”

So a "federal officer" murdering a woman is more reprehensible than a federal officer murdering a man?

That is not the point. So I guess you advocate putting women in harms way to protect cowards?

I doubt you can answer the question.

My point is that the feds are out of line and have no business murdering anyone, much less family members of herders that have had their cattle on land for generations. Its telling what you choose to focus on.
