You've got me beat by over a decade on Karnatic music listening, but when I found a Subramaniam double CD and had no idea what the music was like and took a risk with $1 or $2 at a thrift shop...WoW...a beaut!

 

Karnatic violin virtuoso, this L. Subramaniam.
