Mindfulness, Third Person View

Recommended Posts

What is exactly having a third person view of self and the world? I do get the third person view feeling a lot. It's a weird view/ perspective. It's like everyone is an alien and I'm the normal guy, I don't know how to explain this. It's just feels like I landed on a different planet and everything seems foreign/ and interesting to me. I feel more grateful in a way and all the materialistic things in this world seem just pointless. When I have the third person view of my family and myself, it's like wow, they are actually my parents. Is this mindfulness? What exactly is this third person view feeling? It's like, wow, I exist in this world. I exist.

Mindfulness is a mental or consciousness state of being you experience during meditation. It is a state in which you have achieved one point focus. A single focus on the state of emptiness, or the intermediate moment in between thoughts. Is not easy to achieve. When you do, you would know because you are a bit closer to experience samadhi.

Third person view of the world is just simply seeing yourself both the subject and object of the world. You allow yourself to interact with the world. Detaching yourself in a situation or a phenomena. You begin to examine your own reaction in order to determine the nature of the experience.
