Actually, this time, i think Apech may have been serious.

Mods? At one point it seemed there was talk of an inner circle, with full-disclosed membership. That still in the works?

SotG, I think it's more like you are a very new member, we have not heard of you or know who you are, aside from a random person posting. We do not know if from a legit lineage, or how long you have practiced for and etc. I am just using you as an example, but having a bunch of folks who we know nothing about with their own section wouldn't work out so well probably. Being well known and recognized, a few books out, many students and so forth does tend to help. Not saying such folks are the most knowledgeable, but it is one way to know background. Also folks in the above category also get the most questions asked of them. This section would be more about the several known systems of qigong and so forth.

Btw, as an aside, we also have an articles section ;).

That's probably the best idea - have a section like the other sites do for Kundalini awakening experiences...

Each person tells their own story - that's really about how it should be.

Kundalini is so wild and varied and complex that there is no one group of data to present as fact - it is probably as mysterious as the Tao! [hint hint]

rene, that hasnt been brought up. but i do remember gerard had suggested it awhiles back.

apech, another mod rightly pointed out to me that i was taking this thread off topic. so for now i reckon keep this thread about a kundalini thread, it is a big enuff topic for discussion on its own.

i am sure those 2 other ideas will be considered/discussed. not sure of the timeline, we are doing a bit more reorganizing at the moment.

I understand.

I am not famous, have no lineage roots, nor am I an author.

When my Kundalini awoke, it was in the late `70's.

There were no books on the subject that I knew of, no internet, and we still had rotary telephones.

However, cars and airplanes were already invented by then.

Kung Fu flicks and meditation, Bruce Lee and fighting, and one good bang at the right place set my Kundalini in motion.

Looking back now, I was set up as an child to be "called by the Goddess, Kundalini".

So I had the hard-knock school.

Try it and see what happens.

Was dangerous and enlightening.

The Public Library had very little, and there were no gurus.

The Pizzeria and Pool Hall was my ashram.

I taught dozens of people, but they also, are not famous.

Well, one student was, after he robbed a bank and got shot.

But that probably isn't the credentials you are looking for, right?

Actually we are still figuring out how any section of the forums like this may go. We will have to figure out what all to include. Much thought and discussion is going into this, and it may take awhile.

Of course in the meantime the Personal Practice Forums are used in this way quite often. If you would like one just let us know :).

Ok, thank you.

In the mean time, I can offer help to anyone, who posts my way, asking for Kundalini info.

The more I think of it, the more I believe that any personal theories should be kept in the individual personal practice threads, and the only thing that should be on the main board as an official is a bare bones list of sign/symptoms, etc. - with disclaimers all over the place that one should not assume one is having a Kundalini, etc. occurrence....same for qigong illness. and even schizophrenia, perhaps even chronic fatigue syndrome and other things. This way, people could see that there are many similarities between these things and that only a professional should be diagnosing and so on. In fact there should also be a disclaimer that even the pros are often wrong and misidentify this stuff. I don't believe there are too many people in the whole world who would be right 100% of the time in regards to this stuff. If someone wants to give personal advice - that's their business...I am willing to give personal advice within my own PPD area if someone feels drawn to it, but I am not interested in doing so in main boards any more as I am not omniscient. Even if something sounds 100% like what I went through - it could be something different. Perhaps if certain people had their own sections in their PPDs and admins thought that they were of an acceptable level of experience/knowledge, there could be a list of individuals on the board who one might be directed to for possible education- with a strict disclaimer that none of these people are professionals, and that in fact there really aren't any professionals for this kind of thing (in my opinion)...
