Wu wei from a qi perspective

Recommended Posts

I want to do something; I want to go somewhere.

But there is nothing that needs be done and there is no place I need to go.

Wu Wei sucks sometimes.

That seems to be a mental conflict, thus not Wu Wei in the end :)

Why sucks? You have not done anything adversely!

Well, actually, I did. A little later I went to Home Depot and bought two lithium battery powered tools that I really didn't need but just wanted to have. Now I am minus $235.

But then, it's only money. Hehehe.

Four basic principles for mind and body unification by Koichi Tohei.

http://www.northside...n/ki-principles

  1. Keep One Point: calm and focus the mind at the one point in the lower abdomen.
  2. Relax Completely: release all stress from the body.
  3. Keep Weight Underside: let the weight of every part of the body settle at its lowest point.
  4. Extend Ki: visualise limitless energy radiating from the one point.

You apply one of them at a time.

If you apply one of the principles, you will stay in Wei-Wu-Wei
