deci belle Posted September 1, 2013 (edited) There is an indicator in the body Where you always hear the high note of antiquity This describes two energies without the flow of imbalance If you ask for genuine information Sincerity alone has the effect. Since sincerity alone has the effect of joining the two things perhaps approaching the elimination of miscellaneous thoughts could be effected through the same agency of nameless open sincerity. This is the province of Earth, which evens out the field of endeavor and promotes equanimity in the course of everyday ordinary situations. Resting in open sincerity alone, events do not reflect self-involvement which is the source of psychological agitation. The intent of the real body is the Center, which has no location. Earth, open sincerity, the go-between, the yellow woman~ all different names for the same substance and function. ed note: add last sentence Edited September 1, 2013 by deci belle

deci belle Posted September 2, 2013 I found something to corroborate that bit of intuition …inspired by the high note of antiquity. This from a modern (1644~1911) volume called Secret Records of Understanding the Way, by an anonymous author: "True practice is total sincerity. It is not a matter of avoiding the world and leaving society. And neither does it depend entirely on deliberate sitting and reciting scriptures. The essential thing is to refine away the false within the true to filter out the true from the false. Only then do you attain the true reality of perfect sincerity. If you only concern yourself with reciting scriptures in front of other people and do not concern yourself with inner cultivation and self-government, or if you sit quietly all day, immobile as a statue, looking good outwardly but inwardly agitated by roaming thoughts and miscellaneous ideas— all of this is false."
Wu Ming Jen Posted September 4, 2013 (edited) Yin and yang are in love with each other but the go between is needed for them to meet or they will drift further and further apart. They meet in the center and are one again, happily ever after. When intention has sincerity and the mind is at rest what is there to pollute the mind, the celestial design can then be seen. When this couple meet the internal government is set in order. When the couple, yin and yang reconcile their differences all boundaries melt away. When yin and yang have been separated for a long time they think they are two when they actually are one, its just silly. I love the warning not to separate from society to do the work. This is the spiritual, the mundane world is the spiritual outside of all that has been written. To run away is a coward without the strength and sincerity needed to penetrate the mystery. deci belle Posted September 4, 2013 It is absolutely true, Wu. Formal meditation and energy-work are for rank beginners. The real deal is in the marketplace. One cannot find the real but for the false. The false itself is the absolute. In terms of the Great Vehicle of spiritual function within Suchness, there is no difference at all. One's self has no separate reality from objects …how could karma somehow be different? In terms of open sincerity, this is the space of endless transformations. What isn't just this? But one must have an affinity whereby one enters the inconceivable to abide in this function. Those who complain and call harm on themselves in attempts to degrade the aspiration and even accomplishment of enlightened being are terribly misguided. It is a pity.
silent thunder Posted September 4, 2013 This resonates deeply! Recent months have rendered a constant awareness of Communion. When mindful, self dissolves in other and Communion arises like mist. After reading this, I see Sincerity as the soil from which Communion manifests. Beautiful shivers flowing.

dawei Posted September 5, 2013 Where you always hear the high note of antiquity The intent of the real body is the Center, which has no location. I find this echo [of the past] in my inner most place . I think the usage of the character of center, Zhong, in the Laozi is completely understood... it is this inner most echo place.
