Thunder_Gooch Posted September 2, 2013 I would absolutely love the ability to hide topics, I am unsure if this is possible with the forum software we have but it should be if it isn't. Basher Posted September 2, 2013 Agree it would be an enormous benefit, not to be deluged / inundated with the various threads about things of no importance or interest to me. Taobums, the forum about spirtual topics that inhibits freedom of speech and allows us to block each other as much as we possibly can. Or Taobums, the forum about how to save money, how to stop jerking off to porn, how I attained higher levels than you, my system is better than yours, girl problems, if you could build a time machine, the list goes on and on and on and on... It would be nice to have the option to hide a lot of the threads lately. Oh and please don't bring the edit timer "freedom of speech" issue into this. It's unfair and could derail this thread. And how people hide behind their opinions and try to pass them off as expression. You know, Hitler had an opinion about the Jews. Just saying. If I let someone in my house and they start hating on homosexuals, jews, african americans, I don't have to listen to it, I have the right to throw this person out of my house right? Or should they cry FREEDOM OF SPEECH and allow them to infect my space? Don't think so. Just like you (the people of this forum) have the right to freedom of speech, I should have the right to not want to see it, thus hiding threads is a good option.
