KenBrace Posted September 6, 2013 I've heard a little bit about this before but I didn't really understand it. What exactly is the difference between Shen, Jing, and Chi?
RiverSnake Posted September 6, 2013 My understanding is the level of subtlety/refinement of the energy and to which area in the body it's associated with. Shen is higher in the body, Jing is lower, chi is middle. But that's just based on my own very limited understanding of this topic. Aetherous Posted September 6, 2013 The three together are the "supreme medicine", according to the Jade Emperor Mind Seal classic. You replenish and harmonize these three treasures through emptying the mind in meditation.
Wu Ming Jen Posted September 14, 2013 Jing creates the body, Chi moves the body, Shen moves energy. Â Vitality, energy and spirit these are energies with no physical location that we are all born with when they separate we have trouble when they merge back into one there is harmony.
