What is that subtle sensation of pain when a person thinks about doing something good?

Recommended Posts

I notice there is always this strange sedentariness or laziness towards doing things one knows would clearly be useful to a person.

Taken to the extreme it results in procrastination. We override it over and over again as it is proven wrong over and over again. When in a state of total flow, this sensation of resistance disappears. It is so very subtle; when you have a good thought to which you say "no", it is the evoked response.

It seems that overcoming this singular 'thing' would turn a person into a dynamo of pure unhindered self-expression. It goes away when you lift heavy weights for a long period of time and get used to channeling your rage but if you stop it comes back.

^^^ This is troublesome. I think resolving recurring rage is a pressing issue for you, as opposed to channeling or repressing it.
