Everything Posted November 20, 2013 (edited) Reflecting on Yin/Yang, the full spectrum of existance and non-existance giving rise to one another. We usually think in terms of: either I am reading this or not. It can't be both at the same time. Since I am reading this, I am not not reading this. However, according to Lao Tzu, existance and none existance give rise to one another. So they must exist at the same time. You are reading this AND you are not reading this. That is the full spectrum of reflecting on your reading. The question usually goes, "If I am also not reading this, what is it exactly that I am not reading?" The answer is: "You cannot know, because you are not reading it." By reading this, you are not reading this. By not reading this, you are reading this.
