ssmith7 Posted November 30, 2013 Hey all, Â I thought it might be interesting to tell the bums about my experience after completing 100 days of semen retention. Now, I am in a committed relationship and could not risk an unhappy lady. So I did not remain celibate, however, I did use sexual qigong in order to keep myself from ejaculating while still having the pleasurable experience of orgasm. Of course, a little leakage here and there occurred but I never had a full out ejaculation. Â All that said, I feel amazing. My back pain and joints don't feel sore after the day is up. In fact, I never realized how much strain and damage a day takes on the young body. Even after going for runs, physical fatigue isn't as deep. The body is also softer, yet more durable. Â Will you enter the void or experience anything called enlightenment after completing the gong test? I don't know. Why keep the expectations high? I am just saying for physical purposes and well-being, it seems to help (or be one hell of a placebo!)
RiverSnake Posted November 30, 2013 (edited) Congrats, doing the 100 days is quite the accomplishment. May you continue to enjoy the power and vitality of this state of Being. Â My 2 cents, Peace Edited November 30, 2013 by OldChi
taomen Posted November 30, 2013 From my experience energy leaks just little less if you have sexual contacts. After some period it find the way to run out. Do you have unusual feelings?

Isimsiz Biri Posted December 2, 2013 Just a simple question. Â What is the outcome of this 100 Days? How do you define it?
nickyro Posted December 2, 2013 (edited) Because that 100 days is a lie. Yes, I am at >200 days there is no Transfiguration or any fireworks by itself. On the contrary, it would be bad for health to have Jing stagnation in your lower centers, you need a whole spiritual routine. Yes retention empowers your spiritual exercises and your life, but you cant practice retention if you don't reverse the flow of energy and its quality with a sattvic diet. Â IMHO Retention and Sattvic diet are the two foundations of spirituality. Then you have to add an Energy practice which connect root to the brow (Spinal Breathing Pranayama or Microcosmic Orbit...) + a Void meditation practice (Anapanasati or Deep meditation...) both will purify your body of light. I do Asanas every morning and because of Retention and Sattvic diet it has a good purification action by itself, but without it would be a weak practice. Â Also once you have enough purification you can do breath retentions which makes your "Shakti" (kundalini) to ascend, breath retention would not work without the two foundations. bakeneko Posted December 4, 2013 Elaborate this statement please. Â He likely means that either the number is wrong or the actual requirements were not fullfilled. Like another person in this forum posted about his "100 days" and mentioned nightly emissions, but still kept counting the days.
Isimsiz Biri Posted December 4, 2013 He likely means that either the number is wrong or the actual requirements were not fullfilled. Like another person in this forum posted about his "100 days" and mentioned nightly emissions, but still kept counting the days. Â Not at all. Â I simply asked what is the outcome of this 100 days celibacy. How do you understand you reached that goal (whatever it is)
Green Tiger Posted December 4, 2013 Not at all. Â I simply asked what is the outcome of this 100 days celibacy. How do you understand you reached that goal (whatever it is) Â I think you know you've reached the goal if you've gone 100 days without ejaculation. IME, the effect of doing something like this greatly depends on your energetic sensitivity. In other words, your mileage may vary.

IME, the effect of doing something like this greatly depends on your energetic sensitivity. In other words, your mileage may vary. Â Â Either I can not explain or you do not understand. Â Let us assume that you have performed 100 days without ejaculation. You have done it. Perfectly. No nocturnal emissions and let us assume that no erection at all during 100 days. Â Question: What will happen?
Aetherous Posted December 5, 2013 Question: What will happen? Â From my limited experience...it's like getting an oil change for your car. Whereas previously the oil was low and not fresh, so the car is kind of clunking along, now your oil is full and clean so the car runs smoothly. It increases the potential lifespan of the car. The oil is what Ayurveda calls ojas (which is produced from the reproductive tissue, called shukra) and the car is a metaphor for the body and mind. So celibacy helps with health and spirituality in a subtle way. Subtle means that some people will notice effects, and some might not really, although the effects are still happening. Also, the person's testosterone levels will be normal, whereas someone who ejaculates often will pretty much always be at half of their potential, or else experiencing relative highs and lows in their levels if they don't do it quite as often (every few days)...there are peer reviewed studies on this which are interesting and pretty consistent in their results.

Thank you for the answer. It is pretty honest. Yet I do not see any benefits and the expected result is not clear at all. You explained with a metaphor. Isimsiz Biri Posted December 6, 2013 from my experience retention first of all gives extra high sensitivity  Sure. Is this the goal of "100 days "Gong""? Extra high sensitivity?

Friend Posted December 6, 2013 I asked a simple question, you are directing me to a many pages of discussion. I still insist on my humble question. If there is any answer on that link, please post it such that we can read it. There is no simple answer for your simple question, so I advice you to read it, even it is many pages as it is direct expirience of what is happening from their individual standpoint by challenging the 100 days from the member here in Taobums. Â I was teached personally that traditionaly100 days of celibacy is used in the practise of Qigong to establish a foundation in the Qigong that ask for celibacy. As it contain energies for accumulation which seem to be lost by non celibacy - or get interupted. Â The time of 100 days is depending on the individual and some need more and less because those from the past have expirienced this with their art and pass their observation over with the help of those who developed abillity to perceive the process. Â So actually mostly only teachers can say if one has passed this 100 days as it depends on the foundation the teachers want to see by his tradition. Also some teachers infuse one with energy and it is would be a waste of his cultivated energy, who can get very mad since for boosting the practitioner they had invest hours and days. Â For people who not cultivate the answers are far spreading...... from better emotion, confidence, selfesteem, relationship with the other gender, health, mood, energy levels by having 100 days as a choosen set time frame for observation. Friend Posted December 6, 2013 I know the foundation training. It is actually 120 days, not 100 days. Â Question: how do you understand that you have successfully built that foundation after that 100 days? The foundation for each school differ in the length in time but well 120 days are more safe to be sure than 100 days if one is on its own..... and do practise correctly with necessary quality - else even with full time celibacy one reach no foundation even as monastry practitioner for the whole life. Â As I understand is that even if one do not celibate after the time of successfully building the foundation, the built up and rendering of the energy body is not weakend. Actually one do know this when one go on with practise that one not "run short of energy". Â An example is that one learns to work with energy and project energy and guide it in the body, but for some reason, the energy stops. One lost everthing one built up and is foggy in mind, unable to project energy and the practise itself is as if one start with less than zero because of damage. It is then wise to have a teacher in such case. Â When foundation is strong something like this not happen easily. One of the things I have been told from one of my teachers is after mastering the foundation in his school with a preparation of 10 years for 2hours per day + extra time the exercisetime is cut down as well all other practises substitute by one practise and 20 mins per day. Â The mastering of this foundation requires the celibacy for this period under supervision and the forbiddance to learn and practise other Neikung (the Neikung start with the first day so waiting 10 years...) , but after mastering the foundation one is allowed to learn whatever one want as this foundation can not easily be broken or disturbed. Â Also not many graduates come from this school. I hope one of my friends can reach this in 2 years. Â I aplogize I can not name this teacher and school. Â The real foundation requires three years of celibacy. Which is not feasible for anyone in this century. Â The energy weakens for any period less than that. 100 days? 120 days. It becomes zero.
