BaguaKicksAss Posted December 4, 2013 If so please PM me. Â I could really use a ride to or from there and Seattle this weekend (fri) so I can actually get there from here (Vancouver, BC), and then back to Seattle all in the same day.
Marblehead Posted December 4, 2013 Not me but I do remember the times I visited Vancouver, B.C. and how enjoyable those visits were. Very nice town and I really enjoy the "Old Europe" section. One time I made it out to where all the Hippies used to hang out and enjoyed the company of people just enjoying life. Â I hope you find yourself a ride. I would offer but Florida is a long way from where you are.
Iskote Posted December 4, 2013 (edited) In case you don't find anyone who can help you out with a ride, you can maybe check out the train, if you haven't already. BaguaKicksAss Posted December 4, 2013 I'm already going to have been on the train for 4 hours from Canada, and they don't necessarily match up... just not feasible to take 2 trains and make it back to Seattle by train as well unfortunately. Â Hmmm maybe I have to do this on separate days. Â *Wanders off to search rideshare* .
Iskote Posted December 4, 2013 (edited) Yes, it's actually quite a long haul to make that trip by train/road (Van, BC to Van, WA = 490km) and still have some time to stop and do something all in the same day, and then head back to Seattle in the evening. BaguaKicksAss Posted December 4, 2013 I'm tempted to send the person a return greyhound ticket and meet them halfway! Would save *me* 8 hours...
Aaron Posted December 7, 2013 I'm in Western Washington... Aberdeen to be exact, about an hour west of Olympia. We should try and hook up some time, it's always nice to meet with other bums.
BaguaKicksAss Posted December 7, 2013 I'm in Seattle now, free mon during day... aberdeen isn't all that class to Seattle though... I have no car. If it's not too far let me know. I'm too tired to think directions now, got up at 5am. Â PS see the TTBs meetup thread!
