Fine, but do you agree that these dualistic parameters are the starting point in determining how to still afflicted experience?

do you think that there is also non afflicted experience?

That must be the stupidest comment in the entire thread.

Not only did RongzomFan selectively misquote but he also ignored the reference to the two-line rebuttal (that I posted on the first page), which was beyond his grasp and then he resorted to abusising/trolling me - an observable pattern.

Then he moved on to trolling IB in particular and others in general.

These actions are signposts of someone who's very unhappy (and therefore ignorant of the meanings of Aham Bramah Asmi and Tat Tvam Asi).

They can also be a sticking point.

Often we hear people discussing spiritual truth from the objective standpoint, and resting content with theoretical knowledge. This is the result of pursuing dry and fruitless lines of thinking. An aspirant has nothing to gain from mere appreciatory or depreciatory discussion of the truths set forth in philosophical works. The idea of the Acharyas was only that each should follow some line of spiritual thought which would help him to attain realisation. This is clear from the words of Sri Sureshwaracharya already quoted. The present book is meant for those earnest aspirants who, not being satisfied with theoretical knowledge, want to pursue the path of realisation.

Brian didn't want me to continue this until a definite and conclusive answer to this thread was resolved or that I start a new topic. :P:D

Gatito, admit to your double standards:

So you're reliant on faith!!!

I can't believe that

http://thetaobums.com/topic/32820-debunking-a-creator/?p=502461

Yes, so are believing the Vedas, the Torah, the Bible, the Koran are of divine origin.

The can be a starting point.

They can also be a sticking point.

Even Ramana Maharshi elaborated on savikalpa, nirvikalpa, nirvikalpa sahaja samadhi.

I don't know how Ramana Maharishi became any sort of authority in any way.

I guess since Islam destroyed the tantric lineages, people resort to bullshit gurus like Ramana.

Gatitio follows "Direct Path" Advaita and Ramana Maharshi was the starting point for this.

Yes, but why do people care about Ramana?

Is it the lack of genuine tantric lineages like in Buddhism?
