I thought one of the fruit flies had gotten inside my laptop screen at first ROFL. You got me SotG.

 

Pretty despicable someone would do that to an animal; apparently it's really common that people will go buy a pet then realize it's too much work then just dump it or put it in an animal shelter (where about 1% aren't euthanized)
