LOL, the day I was reading this LHP book utilizing Demon worship, by a very well known (in those circles) author... and realized that it was the newage books I'd read as a teenager repackaged!!!!! Same methods, nearly the same wording, some of the same ideals even! Yeah the modern LHP books suck (IMO). I'd get more out of Blavatsky or Steiner for that sort of stuff, as they are more traditional than the authors that guy stole from....

Actually you got me thinking a bit more BKA,

 

 

I don't think I like 'magic' even though I might be practicing it myself on occasions.

 

I might even be a bit racist even though I'm white and my wife is non-white.

 

I don't like people that steal even though I might download stuff I shouldn't.

 

I detest violence even though I want to punch the crap out of some people.

 

I loath lustful, sleezy people even though I entertain those thoughts myself.

 

I don't like lazy people even though I've been sitting around and not doing much lately.

 

I look at the greed in the US which has caused 49 million people to not know where their next meal is coming from but I still want crap loads of cash to do things.

 

I hate egotistical people but I love it when people hit the like button on my posts !

I don't think that is a hypocrite . its fairly normal ... I just don't think its being realistic ... we are one way , yet we adopt a 'moral system' of what 'should ' or 'should not' be in our moods , feelings and behaviours.

 

Why don't I give more of my money to poor starving children overseas ?

 

Try that question out ... then change the my to yours and ask someone else.

 

Answers will range from an indignant look, abuse, bullshit justification, all the way through to an uncaring arsehole comment.

 

My answer is because I am a rich westerner and I don't care enough about them. And I am not even going to attempt to sugar coat it with what I HAVE done for such people, or quote a parable about fish and fishing or ....

 

Actions speak louder than words .... and IMO drown out excuses.
