zanshin Posted February 2, 2014 Dylan Farrow's accusations of Woody Allen are heartbreaking. Assuming you believe her, then what does this mean for the consumer? Do you boycott or avoid art if you believe it's creator is beyond reprehensible or do you judge art by its aesthetic value only? I can see both sides and am interested in people's opinions. zerostao Posted February 2, 2014 general disclaimer >>> opinion only; i feel that the artist's energy will be connected to the art. i ask myself, do i want this energy coming in contact with mine? example, i do not listen to the music of motley crue, becoz they havnt held up too well. another example, altho many lay-people wrongly are under the assumption that van Gogh was mentally ill, he certainly was not and had a terrific energy about him. i would love to come in contact with some van Gogh art. everything is energy. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
