mike 134 Posted February 17, 2014 Anybody try this diet before ?? Its basically a very very low carb diet, so low that your body starts to make ketones from fat to fuel the brain instead of using carbs. This apparently exerts a neuro-protective effect and is used as an established treatment for epilepsy. Some people have tried it with anecdotal success for a wide range of neurological conditions and even mental illness.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ketogenic_diet#Other_applications  I'm wondering if kundalini syndrome can be controlled on this diet???? adept Posted February 17, 2014 I tried it for about a month and lost some body fat. Eventually though, I started to feel weak and re-introduced carbs back in to my diet. It's probably good in short spells but I wouldn't like to eat like this for long periods.
GreytoWhite Posted February 17, 2014 I did it in high school at the urging of my personal trainer/youth pastor. Along with exercising heavily 4x a week I was able to lose about 30 lbs in the first month. It made me feel wretched.
