Captain Mar-Vell Posted February 22, 2014 (edited) ... I am so lazy. I drink a fair bit of milk, eat large bowls of dried fruit and nuts, cheese, bread, fried/boiled eggs, toast, marmite, honey, vitamin tablets, cauliflower/broccolli cheese, er vegetable pastries - shop bought, er chocolate, cigarettes and cups of tea with milk and sugar, only rarely eating anything resembling what folk think of as a "proper meal." I like to snack, eat in small quantities. I think it's easier on the stomach. Do you recall the tale of the yogi who was tested by the Indian military for his ability to maintain his weight whilst on a complete fast of all but water? I also read tales of "breatharians." So I once said to my wife, I wonder whether I could live on just tea and cigarettes. You should have seen the look she gave me. No wonder she had me committed. I should just look after myself better, ha! So, thanks for the recipes. ... Edited February 22, 2014 by Captain Mar-Vell

thelerner Posted February 23, 2014 I've been making lots of lentil soup lately. Red lentils cook up quickly. chopped carrots, onion, celery, a potato or two skinned and cubed- cooked in oil for 5 or 6 minutes. Then put in 1 cup red lentils- stir 4 cups broth or water w/ some soy secret ingredient, lemon peel, just outer yellow, cut into small pieces. Works as flavoring and tastes good. other ingredients..whatever.. cumin, salt, pepper, garlic powder, hot sauce, (whenever I add cumin I like to add chocolate powder) Cooks up beautifully, the longer you simmer the better it tastes. More so when you dedicate the merit to the benefit of beings who are experiencing starvation, famine, malnutrition, etc. This will enhance the deed and pave the way for many good qualities to arise in you. SonOfTheGods Posted February 23, 2014 You eat before Noon? If you do, I find it interesting because in Buddhism, you can take a vow of eating only once before noon because it decreases your sexual desire and desire to eat a lot. Just at dinner
Gerard Posted February 23, 2014 Yum. Thanks! Have u tried any? One pot meals are my fave. That's what you should be eating anyway. Once a day and before midday, more than enough (as long as the liver, entire digestive tract and intestines are purified).
