Nungali Posted March 2, 2014 Utopia (The word comes from the Greek: οὐ ("not") and τόπος ("place") and means "no place". ) I saw the film Utopia last night at the local hall … this wont make the rounds in larger places as it exposes Australia as the worst developed country in the world in respect to how it treats its indigenous people. Uncle Larry local Gumbaynggirr Elder was there for intro and afterwards ‘yarn up’ Excellent, I haven’t really talked to him since I helped put on the Indigenous Cultural revival festival here years ago. My friend J took me … she informed me on the way home that Uncle Larry was the first Elder she had met ! Well lucky her … I hadn’t realised that … so a great event for her … he blew her away J … and me too (as usual) . Anyway … what can I say except watch it if you can .
