flowing hands Posted November 16, 2014 Hi Folks I have taken off the verses that I had put on before. I have decided that really what I am being taught is a unique and special thing, no other holyman has ever been taught these verses, so I am going to publish them up to verse 108. I have taken them off because I own the rights to them. I'll let you know when they get published. Hope you really appreciated them while they were here:)

Hope you really appreciated them while they were here:) Yes, I enjoyed them and had fun with some of them. I didn't always agree but that is because I am limited to as clean a Philosophical Taoism as possible. Thanks for sharing them with us and best wishes at getting your work published soon.

These texts or verses are basically called the 'sacred or spiritual verses of the Way and its heart'. The term DDJ was given to these verses at some time after Li Erh wrote them. I will start off with verse 82 and I hope he will honour me with his teachings. This will be a first and a great gift to humankind. If he doesn't want to teach me, well there's nothing I can do, but look to see on this post whether I have been successful. Surely you jest. Well how about this one then. Verse 82. Ignore verses 1-81, pet your dog, and try to stay sober. My point being, we have no way of verifying what you are proposing is a true rendering of the verses higher than 81. Unless of course I have completely missed your point and am making an ass of myself here.
flowing hands Posted May 7, 2018 You are obviously not familiar with approx. 15,000 years of tradition? Shamans have practiced their mediumship and possession arts for this length of time. One of my teachers is Lao Tzu (li Erh Xian Shi). I have been following the Immortal master for 34 years and he has taught me his teachings.

flowing hands Posted May 7, 2018 One has got to remember that Li Erh wrote down on Bamboo strips his teachings, these numbered far in excess of a hundred. It was others who compiled them and discarded ones that did not perhaps suite their own opinion. Copyists then have done their work to change certain words and someone along the way (sorry for the pun) chose the title of DDJ. Intellectual study of the text that we have does not do it justice, nor does it show the great understanding of Daoist cultivation that Li Erh has. So we accept as a act of faith that whatever has been translated is true, but given the fact that multiple translations do not agree with each other, even if my further verses of Li Erh's teachings are just made up in my head, they really can stand alongside the validity of any other translation, because these are not truly valid also. 3
