TheExaltedRonin Posted March 14, 2014 As we all know Ding Meditation is a focused meditation. How would one "focus" on what they are doing without being mindful (in the Buddhist sense). Let's not overcomplicate it, simple question, simple answers.

ChiDragon Posted March 15, 2014 No, all meditations are focused.Ding meditation(禪定) is a method which is dedicated by a Buddhist to sit tight in an isolation place with no external disturbance. He sits completely still and locks himself in an non-moving state. It is not something that an ordinary person can be applied in daily life.
