Personally, I think I may believe in Jesus, but more as a What than a Who. Who is Jesus? What is Jesus? The What of Jesus, an ambiguous principle of calm and peace and truth and honesty, tenderness, compassion, ..... Evoking Jesus in this has power, imo, much the same with other gods of the same disposition.
