Why is this a matter of One versus The Other to you?

 

Does it have to be?

 

What makes one antithetical to the other?

 

If the latter becomes a obsession to the point of losing your connection to authenticity, I think that would be a problem, but is it otherwise?

 

Is renunciation of the physical really a healthy thing for Spiritual people? We may as well enjoy it and make good use of it while we're here.

 

Why should living from the Higher Self involve being completely irrational, insecure, poor and powerless? It makes no sense to me.

Skydog, I saw the last few posts before you deleted them (quoted from a medium) and I'll just say this: I think it's a very good idea, even necessary, to seriously question anything that a medium has written down...as I'm sure we all know, a medium is someone who channels entities - how can you really trust a post about the Higher Self from medium? Who's to say it's not some Trickster from The Ether that's doing the talking? I like you, but in honesty the way you write posts, and the way you delete nearly all of them concerns me. Do you think you're really living from your Core?
