That Space Cadet Panda forum seems to be all but dead.

Maybe MPG is lonely.

Thing is as far as I'm concerned he can whistle.

Two headline threads he started on me over there both of which focused on his main message of "F*** You GMP!"

Never having joined his forum nor signed up to anything other than TTB I found that to be uncalled for behaviour.

In MPG's favour though the guy is up front and tells it like he sees it, albeit how he sees it, and then responds; seems often akin to a disgruntled foul-mouthed teenager.

With MPG there's none of that petty 'cut n paste' sniping, back-stabbing and ego- centric innuendo that some of our ' Look at ME. I am RIGHT' Buddhabum chums seem to revel in.

If MPG is let back IMO he should be made to wear a placard on his avatar for a month after the manner of those Chinese dudes back in Cultural Revolution days. The word 'Prodigal Repentant ' could feature on the placard perhaps.

That or be soundly spanked.

He's been a very naughty boy.

@Joeblast: Its funny you know I have something like a list of posters here whose comments concerning practice I value higly. You are on it.
And no matter what you post concerning me I have still high respect about your practical knowledge.

I can see somehow how one could get to the conclusion about me being related to mp as I sympathise with aspects like "we prefer to see abilities as proof", "there are only a limited number of paths to get you really far" or "to progress far a high amount of time is necessary". On the other hand mo pai is for me a dead end for western unless something changes.
But at the same time I have no interest in "fighting" someone I highly respect concerning their practical knowledge. So I will just step back and stop posting about mo pai on this forum unless I have a specific question or its something which concerns me.

laugh though it and getting back to being... simultaneous energetic expulsion/contraction.

but if you want to start taking dissimilar pictures and putting them all together coherently so that they look like "same image proper" in a sense, well, there's where the power of selection/layering/color adjustment shine through

 

GIMP is good also, but I dont think it has the layering that photoshop does, that's really where you're able to put together a good collage.

Well its just a sad issue all around.

 

From an outsider perspective my take on it is this.

 

John the former head master of the sect decided to accept westerners and a higher former head master didnt like that.

 

John told jim what happened and he also told him to keep practicing.....

 

Now heres the subtext.

 

There is a dispute between the higher ups in the lineage. John had to adhere to the request from his senior but that didnt mean that he wasnt going to do anything about it.

 

This was a dispute between 2 masters of the sect about the future and direction of the sect.

 

Something students should not get involved with.

 

In taoist and kung fu sects there is politics....

 

If jim would have remained silent and just practiced who knows what would have happened.

 

Knowing when to bow out when something is beyond you is healthy.
