idiot_stimpy Posted July 5, 2014 So I had a near dream experience of meeting a humanoid cat person. I asked the cat what was needed. The cat replied, 'Be the One'.

voidisyinyang Posted July 6, 2014 Neo kept saying he was not the One since he was really the "three in one" - needing Trinity to be the One. Â still his Man of Tai Chi movie is better.
nestentrie Posted July 7, 2014 (edited) I think this is being 'The One': Â 49 The sage has no invariable mind of his own; he makes the mindof the people his mind.To those who are good (to me), I am good; and to those who are notgood (to me), I am also good;--and thus (all) get to be good. Tothose who are sincere (with me), I am sincere; and to those who arenot sincere (with me), I am also sincere;--and thus (all) get to besincere. The sage has in the world an appearance of indecision, and keepshis mind in a state of indifference to all. The people all keep theireyes and ears directed to him, and he deals with them all as hischildren. Edited July 7, 2014 by nestentrie

PLB Posted July 7, 2014 Why can't I have dream experiences like that? In my dreams, I am never able to navigate from one place to the next and the humaniod creatures i encounter tell me: "Get a job"
manitou Posted July 7, 2014 (edited) To 'be' the one infers some action, as it's asking you to be something other than what you are at the moment it is said to you. Â The only action I can think of is just dwell in the state of Love to the best of our ability at any given moment. Â Nestentrie - perfect selection! This is unconditional love that is being described, and lack of judgment toward others in the mind of the sage. Edited July 7, 2014 by manitou
