silent thunder

muddiest water, rests in clarity

Recommended Posts

this fell out of me some time ago:

muddiest water

left undisturbed by intent

rests in clarity

after having this buzz around consistently for some months now...

i am occupying a spot of observing the actual process of practice and intention... and necessarily questioning what is the real use of practice over non practice... action over simple being... intention over unintended being...

perhaps it's time to simply release.

practice, intentions, intended action, judged failed action, judged failed non-action...

and just be.

hmm..

Yeah, but occasionally we must stir the waters else it will become stagnant. And algae will then grow and kill everything in it.

*chuckle*

damnit man... just when i was all comfortable in my release

you go and grow algae on my bald ass head

point to marbles... but i'm not going to practice.

I'm going to drink beer and listen to 70's songs...

Is there a difference?

Maybe life is our practice.

Stirred. Still. Both, same time.

Cheers!

still not sure there's anything I need to do to get 'there'...

or even that there's a there to get to.

That certainly sounds like the very nectar of Mh's philosophy,

but then ,,,,, so is throwing a curve when you start reading the fastball.

Yup, I was about to start a thread about how far we go from lao tseu's and tchouang tseu's taoism when we try to make it intelligent by development, references; or look wise or even when we practice with the intent of being "better", more powerful, efficient, ...

That's not the idea of dao I started with.

For me this is time I can work more on my practice,

Nonetheless Cheers To Summer :D !

It stirs itself up. I had possibly the most clarity a couple of days ago but the past 2 days have been horrible (brain fog, daydreaming). Perhaps it's floating to the surface to be dissolved. This is how I choose to look at it anyway. It comes up, I "rest in clarity", and it dissolves.
