power point slide show to .exe

This link tells of one way to turn a power-point slide show into a stand alone executable file

at low cost. (there is another way I came across but it was a lot more complicated, does anyone else have a write up on the steps needed to do via windows itself?)

I dont think Office does that natively, at least up to 2010. I havent had to support 13 much. It'll convert to windows media file but looks like exe is a third party tool. Ppt viewer is free.
