GrandmasterP Posted August 25, 2014 Grrrrrrrr Mrs GMP in London for a wedding. ( Reception in 'The Shard' no less! Very posh.) Dogs and I stuck here, literally. It hasn't stopped raining all day and the dogs show little enthusiasm for playing either card or board games.

GrandmasterP Posted August 27, 2014 (edited) I decided to redeem the time by washing down all paintwork. Doing all ironing. Cleaning all through house from top to bottom. Washing and drying all towels and sundry dog bedding. Mowing lawns ( yesterday during a break in the rain). Mrs GMP back this evening and delighted. I shall pop into work tomorrow for a little rest. GrandmasterP Posted August 28, 2014 (edited) Little feckers made a load of streaks on the kitchen tiled floor overnight. That or I should have changed the water in the mop bucket as I did the kitchen last. (We're all laminate downstairs). With the sun on it this morning it looked as if I had mopped the kitchen with dilute mud. I however chose to blame the faerie folk. Mrs GMP chose not to believe me and did it again when I was at work. It's all shiny now. Â Edited August 28, 2014 by GrandmasterP

Nungali Posted August 28, 2014 (edited) I sympathise, I had a similar problem but it was actually my bosses fault. Â I worked as a cleaner waaaay back, one job was a pub and we had to clean the 'dance floor' extra good; mop and polish. But this day he decides to piss off early in the work van and go to the races " You can catch a bus home." Â But he left with the floor polisher in the van, so I couldn't clean the floor properly. The mop always leaves something behind. Â I had things to do in the morning in town so I stayed there, had a nap in the park and met a friend for lunch, we went back to the pub for lunch and they had a lunch time stripper. Â She strips off, dances around, rubs oil all over herself, rolls around on the floor stands up and ....... Â She is totally covered with crap from the floor stuck all over her oily skin and storms off in disgust and all these drunks start booing ... so I bolted. Â And my boss tried to blame me for it. GrandmasterP Posted August 28, 2014 (edited) GMP." How much was the pay for that job?" Nungali. " Five pounds an hour." GMP. " That wasn't much!" Nungali. " It was all that I could afford at the time." Â Edited August 28, 2014 by GrandmasterP
