stjohn Posted August 30, 2014 Hi all, I’ve been a student of Martial Arts on and off (as life allows) for 30 years now… up until a year ago or so, every style I’ve developed proficiency in has been an external / hard style. Recently, I’ve started training in Taijiquan, various soft Qigongs, breathing / meditation and focusing on the internal aspects of the arts and their meanings. With this shift in focus, I’ve somehow developed a “calling” if you will towards the philosophies behind the balance of everything which in turn has led to a burning interest in The Way… or maybe it’s just that I’m getting old :-D
