Sahaj Nath Posted February 24, 2015 Re: ----- "reverse-osmosis purified water for the entire house so that you're drinking and bathing in the minimum possible amount of fluoride." ----- Be careful. Water is a solvent, and purified or distilled water is a very strong solvent. The minerals filtered (sedimented) out of distilled water are necessary for human metabolism. When you drink distilled water, your body will provide the missing minerals from your body in a buffer reaction. Some limited amount of this is okay for many people who have been eating refined salt and eating lots of meat animal and having eaten other solvents like sugar and alcohol and have deposits in the body from redistribution of detached (in blood, buffer reaction) minerals - but in a fairly short time this can become very unhealthy. Best is most natural and un-processed water you can find - maybe a reliable aquifier or mountain spring, etc. -VonKrankenhaus i know you meant well, but sometimes it's exhausting to share anything around here. that's all. it's a judgement call. you say aquifers and mountain spirngs are the best. well, i have trust issues, so i'm happy to go with second best where i know for certain the water is pure. if there's an issue with minerals being leeched from my body, i can add clean and healthy minerals to my water. or, i can simply accept the "risks" of really clean water and see how it goes. sorry. i'm just tired. i should maybe unplug again for a while. I was just mentioning that demineralization can happen when using stripped (extremely filtered or distilled) water, which is only just some more info to add to this water issue as relate to decalcifying in the body. Please do whatever you prefer and see fit, because you are the ultimate judge of your own actions, not me or anyone else. And yes - there is a lot of pollution in natural water now, so one likes to get testing of these sources, and so on. One thing I have seen for filtered water is to place a small bit of kelp in the water after filtering, to replace minerals. Kelp is filtering the waters of the oceans, and I think kelp has the structure/ability to bind some metals and other contaminants. When all water becomes bad, all life becomes bad. -VonKrankenhaus
Songtsan Posted February 25, 2015 Yeah I was going to mention the same thing about the reverse osmosis water...that you need to add stuff. Getting one of my own reverse osmosis setups soon. Like I said I purposefully buy distilled water and drink only that for a week to leach the minerals out. I supplement with calcium, magnesium, and zinc and then go for a while without supplementing...I do hear some people saying how calcium carbonate is bad and they do add it to a lot of products nowadays... There is this site called decalcifyingthepineal.com which has a good synopsis of the general methods used, but is clearly set up to help sell products... So much sifting to do.... blue eyed snake Posted February 26, 2015 First is to stop fluoride exposure, and to stop processes that put free calcium into circulation and then deposit it. Bathing in fluoridated water is exposure. There is much about fluoride on internet. To do really, you must temporarily go into an "unhealthy" state of decalcification something close to rickets - and this requires years of diet and life preparation, plus some physical training, to go into productively. There are many other calcifications in people that affect cultivation, and not just in the pineal. Lesions (dead spots) in the brain from cutting the umbillical cord at birth will calcify. People with various hormone and mineral imbalances, as well as people who eat a lot of sugar and solvents (like phosphoric and ascorbic acid, etc) will often have calcifications in less-active areas of the body. -VonKrankenhaus I wonder about you're mentioning of ascorbic acid, I think that's vitamin C? or am i wrong. Could you give some information about which food or maybe which herbs are good? Due to illness I started a diet about two years ago. ( even though my diet before that time was good compared what I see other people eating). By now my digestion is such that i can slowly introduce new elements, i'd better choose those who are good for me. My diet now is mostly veggies, fruit, beans etc. nuts, oats, speltbread, brown rice, cheese and eggs. No milk. sugar or alcohol. I use tapwater which is neither fluoridated nor chlorinated. Can't do better on that. i supplement with some vitamins and minerals. Sometimes I have craving for protein, then I take pills consisting of essential aminoacids, my body is not able to digest meat or soy so familydoctor described them for me. At the moment I wonder whether or not to take calcium as a supplement. Body is still very weak, i went into menopause awfully young and both mother and eldest sister have osteoporosis. But I'm having doubts about it, would like to hear your opinion, BES
vonkrankenhaus Posted February 26, 2015 Re: ----- "I wonder about you're mentioning of ascorbic acid, I think that's vitamin C? or am i wrong." ----- Yes. This is a solvent, an acid solvent. Some is necessary for body, too much is a problem. One problem with "vitamin C" is that, when added to soft drinks in aluminum cans, the solvent removes micro particles of aluminum into the soft drink. Aluminum exposure is linked to alzheimer's disease, and in fact ALCOA aluminum company is a primary sponsor of the alzheimer's association of america. In the 1960s during development of the first kidney dialysis machines, "dialysis dementia" was discovered as a result of aluminum being used. This was changed to correct for this in dialysis, but within a few years, nearly all soft drink and beer cans were swapped from steel to aluminum. ----- "Could you give some information about which food or maybe which herbs are good?" ----- I cannot be very specific or give any medical advice, but it is a good idea to stick to actual food and not food "products", to use as much as possible whole and unrefined foods, and to keep to the kinds of foods which have been successfully and traditionally used in any given location. The diet you write about seems pretty good, but know that most women have trouble eating the reproductive products of another species (like chicken eggs) for a long time. Most PMS is really just that person eats too many eggs, and when they stop eggs, PMS goes away in under 3 months. Same with human breasts and cheese or the product of the breasts ("dairy") of another species. Breast cysts and tumors often result. I think maybe you feel that you crave "protein", but maybe you really crave "rich" foods in general. Have you been restricting fats or had liver/gallbladder trouble? In terms of calcium and osteoporosis, almost all of the deficiencies today are due to people not having enough sun and enough bone-stressing normal activity. If you don't do anything that impacts the bones, the bones become not so thick. Also - much "vitamin D" supplementation going on now is really hormone therapy in disguise, and extensive supplementing with what is essentially a hormonal product of the liver could diminish our natural hormonal process in response to sun exposure - similar to the way injections of testosterone or estrogen can cause the body to actually produce less of these hormones itself. There are very few sources of "vitamin D" in foods, so this is not primarily a "nutritional" issue of "not getting enough". -VonKrankenhaus

Sometimes I have craving for protein, then I take pills consisting of essential aminoacids, my body is not able to digest meat or soy so familydoctor described them for me. Excellent diet, pretty much what i have boiled down to after going through some GI problems of my own. Having done a ton of research into diet/nutrition, i want to share with you what i know (since you are a kindred spirit). If you crave protein, fish is a better source; but buy wild caught salmon. There are some vendors on the internet who supply high quality fish from ocean, but they are top dollars. Its best to buy in right season. Seafood from high end grocery stores is ok, if you make sure they are "wild caught" not farm raised. Farm raised fish go through inhuman conditions. I supplement with high end multivitamins, but only at a quarter of their recommended dosage. Whole food sources are the way to go for optimal health. Having started spending time in sun, i can attest to the effects of sun that VonKrankenhaus is talking about. Spend some time walking in early morning sun in a peaceful place like a park; if possible repeat at sunset too - i have found these two produce complementary effects on body. Doing a detox of GI and body for a week, combined with intense meditation reboots the body. Meditation is integral part of health, because body and mind are interconnected more than modern medical science understands. Cut down eating slowly, to only once or twice a day. Track your calories using mobile software or online, to get an idea of what goes in. After 6 months of daily tracking you will get an innate feeling for calories. Calculate your BMR and keep your intake to it or lower everyday (even if you exercise). The more my mind progessed in spiritual path, i healed things by my own efforts that doctors could not heal. Take any supplement (man-made product) cautiously and small quantities to find how your body reacts. If you are in tune with you body, you can feel it and trust it. If you need more info send me a PM and i will talk more. Metta to you.
blue eyed snake Posted February 27, 2015 Thank you gentlemen, you bring up interesting things even though not the answer to my question, that being: which foods/herbs can be helpful in decalcifying the pineal gland. that being the topic of this thread Re: ----- "I wonder about you're mentioning of ascorbic acid, I think that's vitamin C? or am i wrong." ----- Yes. This is a solvent, an acid solvent. Some is necessary for body, too much is a problem. This was changed to correct for this in dialysis, but within a few years, nearly all soft drink and beer cans were swapped from steel to aluminum. wow, I didn't know that, but it sounds perfectly logic. I never used any alu for foodstuffs, kind of mistrust, just as with those non stick surfaces in bakingpans ----- "Could you give some information about which food or maybe which herbs are good?" ----- I cannot be very specific or give any medical advice, if you had done that I would not have taken you serious anymore but it is a good idea to stick to actual food and not food "products", to use as much as possible whole and unrefined foods, and to keep to the kinds of foods which have been successfully and traditionally used in any given location. Have you been restricting fats or had liver/gallbladder trouble? I do have liver and galbladder trouble but I'm not restricting on fats, regular medicin advised that but I do better on the above mentioned diet. And I need the fat or I would become thin instead of slender. And it is a proteincraving, it's like, qigong clears things in my body, then i become very tired for a few weeks and have to drink much water, removing wasteproducts. After that period i get this proteincraving. Feels a bit like being pregnant, i tentatively conclude that my body is rebuilding itself slowly. In terms of calcium and osteoporosis, almost all of the deficiencies today are due to people not having enough sun and enough bone-stressing normal activity. If you don't do anything that impacts the bones, the bones become not so thick. I know that, but my lifestyle and that of my elder sister should be enough, we're both active and sunloving women. Since I'm having severe fatigue I'm not able to do much, therefore I supplement with both vit D and calcium Also - much "vitamin D" supplementation going on now is really hormone therapy in disguise, and extensive supplementing with what is essentially a hormonal product of the liver could diminish our natural hormonal process in response to sun exposure - similar to the way injections of testosterone or estrogen can cause the body to actually produce less of these hormones itself. There are very few sources of "vitamin D" in foods, so this is not primarily a "nutritional" issue of "not getting enough". thank you, I didn't know that. Sounds logical though. But for now I will go on taking it. I'm not enough outside, liver is getting better but getting well will take more time.
