What is astrological meaning of solar eclipse?

Here in Finland,at nearly eleven it he morning,it's turning dark and the birds are returning to roost. But what does it mean?

Apparently we have an eclipse, the spring equinox and a super moon all together.  Must 'mean' something I suppose but no idea what

 

Eclipse only partial here and its cloudy so nothing to see really, light is slightly low but just like normal cloudy day.

I was a bit underwhelmed here in Germany. I was in Munich in 99 when we had a 100% eclipse and was kind of expecting something similar this time. But it's just a super-bright, white sun.

Same here in England. The 99 eclipse was really something special but todays effort was hardly noticeable. For the record I am not feeling in the least ungrounded.

I remember that eclipse well...  mostly because I looked at it directly and theres a little dot still burned into my retina

I climbed to the top of the moors a few miles away with my girlfriend today at 8am and sat mindfully for over an hour while the eclipse did its thing.

 

It was lovely to take time out before starting a job...just to remember what it is to just be!

 

I have felt grounded since...but I would say this is more down to the nature of how I decided to treat the morning.

 

I took a few photos...hopefully I can upload them on this thread if I get behind a PC?

Solar eclipses in very general terms mean endings and beginnings. Which is emphasized in this one by its occurrence on the last degree of Pisces which is the transitional degree to 0° Aries, or the Spring equinox - the end of an astrological year and the beginning of a new one.

I was looking at an isolated event in Azerbijian. Here is the chart for the solar eclipse as it affects that place.

 

 

I note war planet Mars in contact with the ascendant - Saturn (the other "malefic" among the planets) out of sect (a diurnal planet in a night chart), in keeping with the nature of the event... Here is the story that motivated me to look at this...

Okay .... first of all I thought that was what the term was , but not being a 'real astrologer' and very 'rusty'   I couldnt remember the term so I looked it up  ... something like 'calzoni' I thought it was ... I ended up getting ;

Anyway ... a ' Moon kazimi ' certainly brings out the its full potential !  It can even blot out the Sun!

 

The one I witnessed ( full eclipse) was damn eerie!  Nature and the wildlife went off ... dogs in the distance howling, a faint ring of light surrounding the distant circular 'sunset' in all directions ... stars !  

 

 

....  yabbies going walkabout !
