Franklin Posted October 10, 2007 i have been lurking here for a while and i saw a forum topic i wanted to add something to... so i am introducing myself... my name is Franklin, i have been practicing meditation, qi gong, and martial arts since i was around 13 years old (by my own choice) i am going to be 30 this month.. I have studied with more than a couple of teachers... I teach Yang style Taiji Quan, Xing Yi Quan, Bagua Zhang, and Southern Shaolin (the Five Family style from Ark Wong) I have practiced different forms of meditation - Emptiness meditation - A Gate Meditation (energy is drawn through different gates of the body in a certain sequence) - The Xing Qi method of internal alchemy (qi circulated through the small cycle and the eight physic channels) - Yan Xin's Nine Step Childhood Longevity Method - a meditation where colors are circulated through the organs i don't claim to have achieved anything i am also an artist, you can see some of my photography here: http://www.cafepress.com/buy/franklin%20fi...archBox/x_0/y_0 and also have a degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine I will also mention one of my teachers here because since i have been lurking i have not seen him come up and searching did not bring any topics I got to study a little bit of the Dao Dan Pai (Taoist Elixir Style) Nei Kung from Master Share K. Lew He is a temple trained priest from southern china. Here is more bio information on him: http://www.jadedragon.com/archives/lew.html He does some really affordable workshops every year at eselan institute, well worth checking out if you would like to see what he teaches. ok off to post on that thread i wanted to add something too Franklin

nightwatchdog Posted October 11, 2007 Welcome Franklin! Those photos look like sea-stacks I used to visit all along Trinidad and up near Klamath in Humbolt and DelNorte counties. Wonderful places to practice Chi Kung. Bodhi
