I was a "Lobby Steward" a couple of years back, dropped off here / the Net for a while to concentrate on other things... like Family / Work / Training . I just pop in occasionally, to see if I've missed anything 1) Profound or 2) Interesting. Nungali Posted May 13, 2015 What about bodgies ? They used to hang out at the 'Ponderosa Cafe' which was between the train station and our family home. So you would walk past on the other side of the street and mind your own business. But not my big brother, he could call out and heckle them and get them to chase him. Unfortunately for them he was a state champion long distance runner ... he would lead them through the streets until they were puffed and had to stop, then he would stand off and start up again and enrage them so their anger would overpower their exhaustion ... and keep doing that until exhaustion won They never caught him. ( Ummmm .... I tried it once and they nearly got me ... once was enough ! ) But one time ... him and some of his friends 'caught one' ..... they were harassing people at the beach promenade and ... for some stupid reason, took crutches from the ocean pool side (as there was this one-legged guy that used to do laps there ) and threw them in the ocean ! So my brother and his mates told the guy to go and get them and threw him in ... wearing chains, leather jacket, boots, the whole outfit, into the ocean. and wouldnt let him out until he retrieved them, put them back where they were and apologised - serves him right ! 2 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
