daojones Posted May 15, 2015 Over the past month or so I've been having issues in every facet of my life. There has been so many small and a few big things going wrong for me that it is quite clear I am in some sort of energy flow of shit going wrong. Was wondering if anyone else is experiencing this and/or any ideas on whats going on if its a theme for more people.
Marblehead Posted May 15, 2015 Been there, done that.  I think it is more likely that these times in our life are a reflection of our mental attitude.  We can always find bad shit happening if we look hard enough. But there are a lot of good things happening that we aren't paying any attention to. RiverSnake Posted May 15, 2015 (edited) Gone through some serious shit in the last month myself, spiritually and materially. It's not pleasant in the short term, but in the long term I know these experiences will help me grow. Think they may have started around the red moon last month...not sure if that's of any relevance. Perceiver Posted May 15, 2015 It would help if you tell us what has happened? Â My world has crashed a couple of times, yet each time I have - after some time - been able to understand why it happened, and have grown personally and spiritually from it.

daojones Posted May 15, 2015 Thanks. I'm not too familiar with astrology so was wondering if there was some thing going on. Â It's very clear to me why it's happening to me from a personal level. The worse it gets the more I understand the lesson. It's annoying as fuck though...but that's apparently what I need. Everything I touch basically breaks not in a major way, but in a subtle and minor enough way to cause problems and when multiplied through all aspects in my life it's well quite frustrating and stressful. I have found the length and concentration of this shit storm to be very unusual so while my personal relation to the events produced by the bad luck is as somewhat clear, I feel like there has to be some larger cosmic forces at play that I am being swept into.

Also doing some uncrossings can help if you feel you got some nasty mojo stuck to you.

well, maybe it's not applicable here but it's something that comes up reading your post.  sometimes it's so that when a specific lesson comes back and back and back...until you get totally fed up with it...it means that you're on the right track but that eh...your response is not yet alright, you're doing alright but the response should be a little different..eh a bit faster, or a bit slower or a bit less attached,or a bit more...but only a bit. So essentially it could mean that you're doing well, but are only a little off course.  ( you ever sailed? when you try to get your sail too close to the wind, they'll start all flapping and you're speed is gone, but when you change course only a trifle, you're just shearing through the water)  my two cents
Nungali Posted May 15, 2015 Thanks. I'm not too familiar with astrology so was wondering if there was some thing going on.   Quiet possibly ... the most intense of these experiences can be related to a Saturn return (around age 28 ) and the 2nd Saturn return at 56 - i n t e n s e  .... it can be !  Also it could be a transit.  Even if this is not the 'cause' it can reveal certain dynamics within yourself at that time.  It could be well worth looking into and supply some solutions.
MooNiNite Posted May 15, 2015 very interesting. i have been experiencing this also.  For me i believe that we have a path of truth, it maybe a truth that we are not even yet aware off.. But the bad occurances and the feeling that we have lost our "path."  I was talking to a random person on a plane who was telling me his beliefs. He told me that God is King. And we are basically here to serve him. IF we dont then he will most likely use us and then basiclaly dispose of us. SO in this regard he was talking about a path also. but his idea is more that we have a certain function to adhear to. like similar to following our heart.  my experience has been that when i try to follow a path i believe in but isnt a path of truth i will experience many hardships, it becomes like walking up a mountain backwards.  In the end i believe fear is the only thing that keeps people from their path. and if they arnt on their path they will be stagnant.

silent thunder Posted May 16, 2015 The last three years have been astoundingly harsh, challenging and traumatic for not just myself, but my wife and every single one of my close friends. It's staggering how much difficulty and massive life impact and change has churned in the lives of everyone close to me.
Nungali Posted May 16, 2015 (edited) Everything said has been accurate. What's going on with saturn return?  I definitely feel its trying to bring me in deeper to the lesson and that ya the tweaking thing is part of it.  Birth is an expression of your formation -  by necessity, form, structure, specialisation, boundaries, containment, definition, ... all are represented by the energies of Saturn. Its cycle of orbit is 28 years, which puts it in the position it was when you were born.  Its the 4th cycle of 7 year growth cycles. A culmination and a new beginning. A time of being 'restricted' in an area that we have not yet learned the lesson of and a time of release of what we have and new cycles of learning beginning. It can incorporate some 'hammer time'. Especially about things that should have been addressed earlier, or allowed to run their course, when the should not have.  Which can get quiet confronting ... and the more we clutch on to what we need to release ... the bigger a hammer time we can have.  Saturn can be the most horrible restrictive, suppressive, jealous baby eater  ( destroying the new things his spirit tries to create)      Or she can be the most delightful release of freedom - the gateway of life but also that of death and its release and liberation      Not that we can blame Saturn - she is " ignorant to the damage done " .  " Saturn comes back around to show you everything Let's you choose what you will not see and then Drags you down like a stone or lifts you up again Spits you out like a child, light and innocent. Saturn comes back around. Lifts you up like a child or Drags you down like a stone to Consume you till you choose to let this go.  Choose to let this go. Nungali Posted May 17, 2015 sounds very apt. I have actually felt very connected to saturn ove the past number of years. Curious if u could explain ur music selection here.  I am not sure if you are familiar with Tool?  The lyrics of that track reflect what I was writing.   The actual music ?  Well, that is selected because of its quality and ingenuity      'Schism' is also an interesting piece and has some relevant lyrics regarding communication  as well as an 'interesting' time signature :   " 'Schism'  is renowned for its use of uncommon time signatures and the frequency of its meter changes. In one analysis of the song, the song alters meter 47 times. The song begins with two bars of 5/4, followed by one bar of 4/4, followed by bars of alternating 5/8 and 7/8, until the first interlude, which consists of alternating bars of 6/8 and 7/8.  The following verse exhibits a similar pattern to the first, alternating bars of 5/8 and 7/8. The next section is bars of 6/4 followed by one bar of 11/8. This takes the song back into alternating 5/8 and 7/8. Another 6/8 and 7/8 section follows, and after this the song goes into repeating 7/8 bars.  The middle section is subsequently introduced, consisting of three bars of 6/8, one bar of 3/8, and one bar of 3/4 repeating several times. At one point it interrupts with two bars of 6/8 followed by a bar of 4/8, twice. A single bar of 4/8 is played before the meter switches back to a set of 6/8 for two bars and 2/4 for one bar. This repeats, setting up another section: two bars of 9/8 followed by a bar of 10/8, that pattern again, and then a single bar of 9/8 followed by a bar of 6/8 and then a bar of 7/8. Next is a set of two bars of 6/8 followed by a bar of 2/8 repeated four times then a single bar of 6/8. The outro has alternating bars of 5/8 and 7/8, ending with alternating 6/8, 2/8 that one could interpret as pulsing with a 4/4 feel.  The band has referred to the time signature as 6.5/8. Although many composers would use 13/16 instead, 6.5/8 is still a valid fractional time signature. johndoe2012 Posted May 18, 2015 Also going through some stuff, I try not to get caught up in it and see it as yet another layer of ego consciousness being split into atoms. Â But not funny indeed.

thelerner Posted May 19, 2015 This got me thinking about probability thus this article. Its on improbable luck, though it could as easily be on the reverse:  #1. Probability Dictates That "Miracles" Are RoutineRomoloTavani/iStock/Getty Images The Scenario: Now let's take the example in the above entry and scale it up. For example, we've written a bunch of articles about amazing coincidences -- events that really occurred despite having such an incredibly low probability that it actually sends a chill up your spine. Take for example one of our favorite true coincidences -- in 1974, a 17-year-old kid was killed by a taxi while driving his moped in Bermuda. Almost exactly one year later, his brother was killed driving the same moped, on the same street, by the same taxi, carrying the same passenger. Cue The X-Files theme.  The Reality: It's impossible to calculate the odds of something like the above because you can't quantify every single variable (i.e. how often that passenger took a cab down that street, how often the brothers rode down the same street, how many other vehicles encountered them, etc.). But you can calculate something like the lottery, because there we have definite numbers we can look at.  So, what are the chances of you winning a lottery jackpot twice? Put away your notepad, we'll just tell you -- it's about one in enough trillions that you should probably begin working on a solid "Plan B" to pay off your student loans. But do a Google search for people who have won the lottery twice, and you'll get dozens of results. It's due to the same logic as the birthday thing above: Although the chances of it happening to any one specific person are infinitesimal, the chances of it happening to someone are just about certain. Our whole difficulty in understanding the odds of things like this is we assume we're the center of the universe. When we ask, "What are the odds?" we're really asking, "What are the odds of this happening to me? Comstock/Stockbyte/Getty Images"Not everything is fucking about you." --The Universe  A couple of statisticians did an experiment in which they invited people to share their own one-in-a-trillion coincidences, and calculated how unlikely they actually were. The result? Miracles turned out to be even more mundane than they expected. When one woman reported having won the lottery twice in a four-month period, they calculated that the odds of that happening to that specific woman were one in 17 trillion. On an individual scale, she's the luckiest woman on the planet. However, the chances of anyone at all winning the lottery twice in four months were closer to one in 30. Basically, it's pretty much a guarantee that someone is going to become impossibly wealthy two times over before the end of this year. It just isn't going to happen to you.  article @ http://www.cracked.com/article_22432_6-bizarre-statistics-that-prove-math-black-magic_p2.html
johndoe2012 Posted May 20, 2015 Well bad luck exists in my experience. Â If you pissed somebody off in your past life it will show up "today". Â Lately what happened to "me": credit cards disappeared in the mail causing lot of anxiety on how to pay for goods, travel debit card stopped working, business flow has not started so no money coming in. Â Stuff related to survival is very hard to take. It gets easier when you clear out the ego consciousness hold on it.

johndoe2012 Posted May 22, 2015 Well the Divine like to play with us but also help us out. Â I'm sitting in the train reciting a specific mantra while being pissed off about a money issue. Â So my mind is holding on to that. Â Two women sit down besides me first talking about dying? Â Then starts speaking about Amma the hugging saint. Â I start to think about Amma, maybe I'll go see her in November.... Â Boom! Complete relaxation in body and mind and I see how silly to hold on to the money issue. de_paradise Posted May 22, 2015 If you want to learn a kind of higher energy practice, imagine the very moment when your luck has suddenly changed for the better. Isolate that moment in your mind/emotions, and try to go into that and refine that feeling of consciousness.  I agree with the interpretation that bad luck events are pushing us off the bad directions that we've taken, but are kind of stuck to. For example, I had a pretty unfortunate event happen a few days ago, but it was so clear beyond obvious that I needed it to reset my path. Though I wish it were all smooth cupcakes and happy clouds all the way to rainbow body.
hagar Posted May 22, 2015 (edited) I don´t mean to judge anyone here regarding their life circumstances. It may be very different, and possibly extremely challenging. Personally, I have been up shit creek for about a decade. It really hasn´t changed much. But then again, alot has also been profoundly good. It´s really also what you identify with.  Its not that mystical. Shitstorms are not statistically and evenly distributed in time and space. By natural variation, they tend to fluctuate, and thus there will be times when shit happen to congregate. It feels personal, but it´s just randomness. Even Wall Street traders know this.  Life is suffering. If you look anywhere shit happens all the time. It would be much stranger if everything went just according to our conceptions of good.  Personally I find much joy in the old Stoics, like Seneca and Marcus Aurelius, who used adversity as a tool and good fortune; a place to mold their character and create opportunity. The saw the obstacle as the way. Very Zen actually.  That said; some energy practices will accellerate the firing of the gunpowder in the barrel, so to speak... When that happens, you know. you just know. h Edited May 22, 2015 by hagar
